What Worked Well:
The two-day workshop on Data Visualization & Analytics provided a solid foundation in Python-based data analysis. The hands-on approach with Pandas and Matplotlib was particularly helpful, allowing us to work on real datasets and create meaningful visualizations.
The instructors demonstrated good knowledge of the subject matter and were patient in explaining complex concepts. The workshop covered essential topics like data cleaning, manipulation, and various visualization techniques that are directly applicable to our coursework and future projects.
The timing (10:00 AM - 4:00 PM) was reasonable, and the Guru Gobind Singh Auditorium provided adequate space for all participants. The QR code for registration and resource materials was a convenient touch.
Areas for Improvement:
- The pace was occasionally too fast for complete beginners, and more time for practice exercises would have been beneficial
- Some technical issues with software installations took up valuable session time
- The ratio of theory to hands-on practice could be better balanced with more practical exercises
- Providing pre-workshop setup instructions would help participants come better prepared
- More real-world case studies and industry applications would enhance the learning experience
Overall:
A worthwhile workshop for students looking to build foundational skills in data visualization. With some organizational improvements and more hands-on time, this could easily be a 5-star experience. I would recommend it to fellow CSE students interested in data analytics.

I had great learning experience. The whole workshop is clear and well structured. The industry experts are friendly and interactive too.
The session was good but I can't say that it was hands on because there was internet connection. That was the major problem I faced so for me and most of my friends it was just a one way lecture not the practical implementation. The rest of the workshop was good we learnt alot and gaind so much knowledge about python libraries. The trainer was also polite but only the problem was with internet routers and the personal signal.
