I had a great experience with these guys. They were professional, reasonable, and friendly. I had high expectations based on their reputation and many positive reviews, and I wasn't disappointed. We got along so well we ended up hanging out after work! They all seem like a really great bunch of people, and I felt absolutely confident that my data was in good hands. Highly recommended!

I regret that it's taken me years to write this review but here I am as I believe it is important for customers to make informed decisions. Back in 2019 when Data Recovery Lab/Computer Doctor were based at Dephna House (same owners), I brought in a 4 TB Lacie hard drive to be recovered after it stopped working. I was told in the original consultation that my data was estimated to be recoverable and that a donor hard drive would be required to do so because of faulty heads. After 3 months of much back and forth, I was told that my data wasn’t recoverable due to platter damage. I was sent back both my hard drive and I also requested the original donor drive which I had ordered/purchased from Data Recovery Lab. In total I'd spent £545 on the donor drive and attempt fee. I then brought my hard drive to a different company who was able to recover 97% of my data. He told me the donor drive which I'd purchased from Data Recovery Lab was NOT compatible with my failed hard drive, in fact even stating to me "On this basis if the claim has been made that this HDD was used as a donor then I would have to doubt either the competence or authenticity with respect to recoverability of data". This was particularly interesting because Data Recovery Lab had informed me that during the process of attempting recovery, the donor heads had been transplanted and calibrated successfully. Clearly this never actually took place as it would have been impossible with the donor drive. When I brought this up in later emails, I was given an excuse that they must have sent me the wrong drive. However, they would not provide any proof of purchasing a correct donor drive when I asked & said they did not have time to dig out old information from 'old cases' (this was 6 months after the 'attempted recovery') Additionally, the other data recovery company informed me that my hard drive had been severely mishandled by Data Recovery Lab with parts missing which had the potential to affect future data recovery, stating to me "The lack of professionalism with respect to the rebuild and handling of the HDD is remarkable". Months later, I reached out to Data Recovery Lab to request a refund for the donor drive and attempt fee. It took months of back & forth/stalling & finally me preparing letters/documentation to bring to small claims court before they finally refunded me. So in summary, I did get my money back but it was over a year after the 'attempted recovery' and a LOT of hassle/time spent/stress. I can't speak for their other customers that I've seen in their google reviews. I can only speak for my own experience but I hope that it's helpful to some people.

I accidentally erased my 8TB Haridve, I almost had a heart attack, I had all my work and project of my customers that were waiting for me to give them their photos and movies. A friend recommended me the date recovery, they bring back all my data, when I dropped them the haridve first I was crying of my sadness, and when i picked it up, I was crying of my happiness, everything is back, even some of my projects. Outstanding service! We want to give a detailed feedback about the Forensic Laboratory to benifit the people who are potentially looking for a genuine and comprehensive Forensic Expert Report. We had a very old digital file(s) and we needed to get the data information of these files for the legal proceedings. We have contacted alot of data recovery laboratories and got a quote from them with the explanation of the information they will be providing us with. It was mainly two or three issues relating to the Digital Files which we needed to examine. Nearly all labs have made the same offer. However, then by chance we found the profile of Mr Joseph Naghdi in the LinkedIn and contacted him. Based on the phone conversation it looked like he was over exaggerating about the service his laboratory provides. Sceptically prepared, we have visited his laboratory and had a conversation with his team members and understood that these people know exactly what they were doing. From what we understood they have two laboratories : one is open for the public (which we have visited), and the second is only for their team only (it's where Mr. Joseph the head of the company works, assumably, on the most sensitive files). Then we gave them our files and in, relatively, short period they have produced a very detailed and fully comprehensive study of the files. We were interested only to get their proffecional statement on 3 specific points, but they have included about 7 other aspects of the files which we not aware of. It was very impressive! Based on our experience, we strongly recommend this company to anyone who is looking for the genuine forensic experts. More than that, the team members, despite being highly qualified, are very modest and lovely personalities! Definitely Five Golden Stars!

When I connected my USB drive to the computer, I encountered issues: there were constant clicking sounds, indicating a malfunction in the reading head mechanism. I reached out to Computer Forensics Lab, a company specialized in data recovery. Their professionalism and experience truly impressed me. They successfully recovered all the data from the damaged USB drive without any losses. Furthermore, they promptly transferred all the retrieved information to a new USB drive. I am genuinely satisfied with the work they've done. A big thank you to the Computer Forensics Lab team for their exceptional service. I wholeheartedly recommend them with confidence.

I had an issue with my external hard drive, it had all my family videos and photos on. Went to a local high street phone/ computer repair shop but no joy. Data recovery lab seems to be directed towards companies, legal forms rather than public. They were friendly and helpful and explained each step. The data was recovered and most importantly the file structure which goes over years was intact. Wasn't cheap but worth the money. I should back up to the cloud!
