Dr. Abar and his Staff are not only very professional and knowledgeable but they are also very nice people. Can't recommend them highly enough!

Dr. Abar is a wonderful, knowledgeable and well skilled orthodontist. He addressed my concerns patiently. Money is NOT one of his top priorities but patient satisfaction is. I took my daughter for her orthodontics treatment to Dr. Abar's office and couldn't be happier. Everything about the office and the work and Dr. Abar himself was great and a professional experience. Dr. Abar really has a talented eye with work experience to back it up. When we first visited Dr. Abar's office, they gave us a great detailed plan of our care process and everything was carried out according to that plan in a timely fashion. Dr. Abar would check everything in detail every visit and tell his staff what to fix and work on that session. The entire staff was incredibly kind and warm and my daughter was always happy leaving the office. Last week was her turn to take off her braces and she was over the moon! She now smiles with a big broad smile in all her pictures. Her smile looks so good that all her friends think she uses some kind of filter in her photos haha. I can't recommend this place enough if you are looking for an awesome smile :)

Dr. Abar ruined my smile. The roots of my teeth had been cut off flat, about 2-4 mm long; hardly any roots left at all. I complained about pain during treatment but he sped up the process so it lasted 7 months instead of 24. I eventually lost all of my teeth from occlusal trauma, so I was basically left with not enough bone to support my teeth. I'd been better off with Turkey teeth probably.

I highly recommend Dr Abar and his staff at Danville Orthodontics. There is no better orthodontist to go to. In fact, we would drive from where we live in Castro Valley to see him. He is the most knowledgeable, patient, and accommodating doctor! From beginning to end my son was hard to stay consistent with brushing and rubber band wearing, but Dr Abar was patient and would educate him in a way that always worked. He just got his braces off and we are so happy with the result!

I have just completed a two year course of treatment for my teeth and mouth with Dr Abar, and I felt supported and cared for every step of the way. As a woman in my late 40's I was concerned about palate expansion, jaw surgery and braces. Dr Abar was so thorough in explaining why I needed to undertake these procedures and how I would feel like a new person at the end of the journey. He is all about how treating the mouth and teeth can improve your quality of life, and I am now breathing better and sleeping better and my smile is amazing! His team are also working wonders on my teenage daughter. Highly recommend!!

I have had an excellent experience with Daville Orthodontics. My visits have all been very pleasant. They have taken me in, right at the time of my appointments with no delays. The staff is very knowledgeable and patient, and the procedures are quick and painless. The staff clearly explains the proper steps you have to take to maintain dental hygiene and they give you a good understanding of where you are at in your treatment progress. Dr. Abar is very kind and supportive. He always makes sure the job is done correctly, and is very understanding of any issues you have with the procedure. Overall I have had a great experience with Danville Orthodontics and I highly recommend them.

Dr. Abar was recommended to us through our primary dentist. The staff at Abar Orthodontics is bar none. They are always kind and courteous when visiting and calling with appointment reminders. Even through the pandemic, the staff made sure to keep patients up to date with protocols and procedures leading up to appointments. The dental assistants were always gentle between my teenage daughters and myself I think I am the most sensitive and they were always cautious when doing tightenings. It was always appreciated.

I went to Dr. Abar as a child and chose to come back to him as an adult because of how amazing his practice is. His staff is highly professional and helpful. Dr. Abar goes above and beyond in making sure his patients are taken care of. I highly recommend Danville Orthodontics as the entire team makes their patients feel like family.

After being scam by this doctor several times for the retainer service fees which he accused my daughters didn't follow his instructions. We went to another Orthopedics for examination and for his advice. He told us that the girls retainers were fine. He said they took good care of their teeth and their retainers. He told us as long as the girls wear they retainers every night and do the normal cleaning and disinfection. The retainers should be fine. No need to replace the retainer every nine months like how Dr. Abar had scam us. Just be careful and don't be naïve like us where we just paid because we trusted his profession!

Watch out folks!! This doctor is all about money. Mr. Abar is not honest person. You can't have a patient-doctor relationship with him. You could go to him if you wouldn't mind to donate your money for the worst service for the business man. He took about $1200 from my dental insurance for xray and consultation. He will only give you some discount when you could write a good review on yelp or recommend him to your coworkers or friends. Otherwise he could not give you a penny discount he said.
