I called all around looking for some rock. Daniels had it!
I needed some light colored rock, granite, to go around my wife's raised beds and under her greenhouse we were about to build. The rock would need to compact a bit for that reason. I wanted light colored due to the heat in the summer, being next to vegetables.
I called all around looking for small granite "gravel" with some fines to help it compact. I'm NOT a landscaper, so using incorrect terminology is par for my course. No one seemed to have what I was looking for, or they were extremely expensive. I needed 14 yards to cover the area.
I called Daniels first, and left a message as no one answered. Called the others, then called Daniels back, no answer. I called again about an hour later, and again an hour after that (I didn't leave several messages, just the one). I was about to go with the higher priced place when the phone rang. It was Daniels. Apparently they were having trouble with their phones.
They were the less expensive option by a wide margin! The person (I forget his name) listened to my needs as I explained what I was looking for. He said the granite he has is "clean" meaning little to no fines, but will compact a bit. He thinks its a great option for what I'm wanting to do. "Granite A rock" I believe I ended up going with. Now the question is when.
I don't have my own dump truck, so I will need this delivered, in two days. Because I live so close (about a mile away), he said he could squeeze me in, but was unsure as to the time. Which was perfect as I'd be home all day and anytime works best for me, so long as it was this day.
9am, the truck driver calls me and asked if NOW was a good time. About 10 minutes later he was pulling into my driveway. The driver was very friendly and I showed him where I needed the load. He was able to dump it right where I needed it (in a pile) and I paid with a check. Delivery fee was kind of expensive, but that 14 yards came in one truck, where other companies said it would have to be two. I'm not complaining.
I think I have found my new landscape supply company. Thank you Daniels! Can't wait to order more!

Brian and Kyle have been amazing to work with and delivery drive Chris has been outstanding. Easiest and most friendly company I have worked with in a long time. So far we have ordered 160 yard of top soil and will go back to Daniel;s for all of our other landscape supply needs.

I previously posted a critical review due to disappointment with a garden soil mix I purchased from Daniels Landscape Supply. However, Daniels responded promptly the same day with a sincere apology and offered to replace the soil with a higher-grade mix at no cost. This level of customer service is commendable, and there’s little more a vendor can do to rectify a situation. As a result, I’m revising my rating to 4 stars, with one star deducted for the initial hassle.I also had an issue with Daniels last year, and their resolution was equally satisfactory. While not every transaction may meet expectations, I trust Daniels to make things right. My advice: be clear about your expectations with their staff before purchasing to ensure a smooth experience.

Hello John I am sorry you were not happy with the product. We do have multiple options and one of them does have a half inch rock in it. We would be happy to give you another product that is free of rock if you come back we will supply the product free of charge.
Excellent gardening soil, rock looks great all year round, best supplies in area at a fair price! Will use again!
