Dinner was everything I expected and more! Delicious fettuccine Alfredo and steaks are out of this world!
Nice and quiet definitely nice service was good. The food was just bland and to me not worth the money. Ordered the waygu steak.
I celebrated my birthday with a lunch at Dakota’s. Their steak and snapper with pecans were delicious. The service was excellent. My husband and I would love to come back for a romantic dinner as the atmosphere looks delightful. Highly recommend it ❤️
I was there for my birthday dinner the food was a 0/10. Organization 0/10. Server Brandon 10/10. I went in and confirmed 27 people. Tyler wasn’t there. The front desk lady allowed me to see the back room and we called Tyler to make sure everything would be fine and he said yes. I ask the front desk lady could I possibly have the back room she said yes but it would have other people. I was told that there would be a deposit for 30 people or more or to even use the back room. I was in the wind about the deposit until it was explained to me. I was uncertain of the amount of people but confirmed the correct amount of people. I finally agreed the day before to pay the $300 deposit the day prior to the dinner but they said it could work in the section before and 27 people could be seated on the area. They called Tyler and everything was good. Tyler called me and wasn’t very clear 3 hours before my dinner. He said the table of 27 would be good and said over flow would go outside. I told him there wouldn’t be over flow bc it’s only 27. When I arrived he had the server confused bc it was only setup for 20 people and the remainder was to go outside in the freezing cold. It was a complete disaster. I was very upset and frustrated. I could tell Tyler was upset as well. He stated that the room was booked but then suggested to separate my party into the back room. So I suggested to put two tables along side the long table and we made it work. The service from the server was good but the food was horrible. My food came out wrong and I didn’t bother bc I was over the entire night. The dinner lasted almost 2 hours over the end time. I do appreciate the server but the seating was horrible especially with it being freezing cold outside and windy. The amount of money that was paid for food and gratuity, the food should of been superb but the food wasn’t good that night. Not to be mean but I’ve had better steaks at longhorn with the right seasoning. The steak was bland that night and the scalloped potatoes were extremely watery.
I was highly disappointed. Hopefully growth can happen and this review isn’t to bash. I just want to be honest.

I was invited to a birthday dinner at Dakotas with a party of 27 scheduled for 6:30 PM. I arrived at 6:15 and did not leave until 10:20 PM.
Unfortunately, the seating arrangement for our group was extremely disappointing. The setup felt hazardous, with heavy traffic constantly passing through from the kitchen and other guests.(The placed our tables in a walk way) There was barely about two feet of separation, which made it uncomfortable and honestly disrespectful to our space as a large party celebrating a special occasion.
The timing of the food was also frustrating. Our appetizers and dinner took a very long time. When my appetizer finally arrived around 8:00 PM, it was cold. I sent it back, and it returned cold again. That was very disappointing, especially for what I expected to be a fine dining experience.
I do want to acknowledge our waiter, Brandon. He truly did his best and maintained a great attitude throughout the evening. However, he clearly should have had assistance serving a party of that size.
Overall, I came expecting a fine dining experience, but the atmosphere and service left me feeling uncomfortable and undervalued. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, especially when hosting large groups for special occasions.

Thank you for your feedback. In the days leading up to the event, we communicated with the organizer multiple times about what to expect and the options available. We offered the opportunity to reserve a larger space or private room; however, that option was declined due to the required deposit. We also made it clear that if the final guest count exceeded 20–23 people, some guests would need to be seated at a separate table or on the patio just outside the door. When the full group arrived, we were directed to seat everyone in the same area despite those prior discussions. Our team did their best to accommodate that request.

A pretty nice upscale steakhouse - everything you’d expect ie: Nice atmosphere, surf and turf, premium prices, complimentary valet parking. Definitely a few and far between here in East Texas. We would like to return when it’s not a holiday to see if there was an improvement in the food and service. We were They are February 12, which seemed like a lot of Valentine’s Day traffic.
Exquisite flavors. A fine dining experience that I will never forget. Steaks, Lollipop's, Desserts, oh my!! Staff were very welcoming, server provided excellant recommendations and services, and the finishing touch...the Chef came out to greet our table for a personal touch. Highly Recommend!
I came for lunch. The burger was great, but the drinks were better. They were cheap and perfectly crafted. Staff was attentive and knowledgeable. Ill be back.
It was our 30th anniversary, I had the prime ribeye , It was super Chewy, not tender, the garlic mashed potatoes, delicious, the carrots very tender, the cream corn and homemade bread, thats where it is!!! The stuffed flounder, on the fishy side, the baked brke, so good!
