I had a technician come out when my furnace was not working. He was there for several hours just throwing new parts at my furnace. I didn’t get a real sense that an actual diagnosis or assessment was taking place. It shut down again a little soon after he left. Since it was thanksgiving Eve, I did not want to call them back again so I changed the nozzle, which is something that’s done with just about every maintenance event. When I called them back, they used me changing the nozzle as a scapegoat to not guarantee their work. After all of the money spent on all the parts they threw at the system. Not sure these guys can actually make a true diagnosis of your issue would skip them.
So bad experience !!!zero stars ! At the time of scheduling the appointment, your company failed to inform me of any diagnostic or service fees. After completing the inspection, the technician charged me $125 which came as a complete surprise and caused significant dissatisfaction. If I had been made aware of the fees beforehand, I would have made an informed decision about whether to proceed with the service. This lack of transparency violates the basic principle of consumer rights to informed consent.
Curries Plumbing, Heating & Cooling always comes through when I need them most. Last year, I had an issue with my tankless water heater, and after getting the runaround from my usual plumber at another company, I called Currie’s. They came out the same day and resolved the problem. Today, I had an issue with my mini split. I called them in the morning, and they were at my house within a few hours. I can’t say enough great things about this company and their techs. Thank you!
I called Curries because my water pressure was inconsistent, my well pump seemed to be running all the time, and my electric bill had skyrocketed (about 2x the normal kw hours). They arrived within the promised appointment window and promptly got to work assessing my water system. They fixed the problem and made some suggestions for future upgrades regarding my well. My electric usage returned to what we have seen historically. Overall, I am very happy with them and will definitely be calling them again if another problem arises.
Had a RSVP scheduled. Showed up for 2 minutes to leave for an emergency call. Rebooked 2 weeks later (took the day off again) for a scheduled 10-12 for a no show again. I had to call them to understand the delay. Just poor communication skills. A third scheduled appointment was requested with a $20 discount ($10 for each no show apparently)… Just forget it.
Based on my experience, look elsewhere
We had Currie's come out to clean our furnace and also address a leak. First, everything is confirmed via email - which I liked. Second, they gave us an appointment window which was accurate.
Joe was very knowledgeable about exactly what was going on and fixed the issue while also giving us some history on the type of heating we have.
If I could give NEGATIVE STARS I would!! Absolutely horrible service!!! I called this company, on behalf of a client of mine who is out of the company, looking for information on having a new boiler installed. The office manager was very rude and told me that since the homeowner can't call (which he can) or sign anything that they can't give me information about a new install or pricing over the phone so "I should just find somewhere else to go". No problem! DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY, EVER!!!
I called this company since I had an issue with my furnace on the last working day before Christmas. (12/22/23)The operator who took my call at 8am told me that they will send someone over between 2-4pm.I got a confirmation email about the appointment. A half an hour later I got another call from the same person saying that someone will be over between 11am-1pm, (so far so good). At 12pm a different person called me to let me know that they will be unable to take care of me since they have to respond to their customer first and they don’t have anyone available. I asked about how they handle emergency situation since is 27f outside and the answer was that they can do something the first day after the holiday.( why do you post that you have an emergency service then)
I asked the person to do something since they screw this situation up and it’s cold outside and the persons response was” you either schedule something for next week or cancel the appointment.( you have already canceled that appointment for me) I then ask for the first available appointment after the holiday and the person said that she will put me on hold and then just disconnected the phone call.
Guys, I don’t care what you post on your website and how many years of experience you are claiming, this was very unprofessional way to handle a situation and I know one thing for sure, This was my first and very last call, I’ll never ever ever ever call you again.
Happy warm holidays one time call company, I’m sure someone out there will show some respect and professionalism and help me out.
