At Curantis Home Care, our mission is to prioritize the health, safety, and well-being of every client we serve while also ensuring that our caregivers are treated with fairness and respect.

Our intake process is intentionally thorough, as we carefully evaluate both client needs and caregiver compatibility. This includes questions not only about care requirements and daily living needs but also about safety, clinical considerations, and equitable caregiver compensation. These conversations can sometimes feel very direct, but they are never intended to come across as rude or dismissive—rather, they are an important part of ensuring the highest quality of care.

We also take great care in screening all incoming caregivers and clients, particularly from agencies where there may have been prior concerns, to ensure a safe and supportive environment for everyone involved.

While caregiver wages are one consideration, our focus will always remain on providing safe, compassionate, and client-centered care. If wages are your primary concern at this time, we understand that another agency may be a better fit for your needs. That said, if you would like us to re-evaluate your situation and determine whether Curantis Home Care can provide the right level of support, we welcome the opportunity to revisit the conversation with you.

While we believe your insight is unwarranted and an unrealistic representation of your families' experience, all reviews of Curantis Home Care are very welcomed as we believe that it can only help us to continue to be a premier home care agency continuing to service South Central Pennsylvania. I believe that if you were as involved with the care at the onset of our initial assessment of your father's needs with the majority of your family members, then your input would have been considered as reasonably as the rest of your family who (contrary to your assessment of our care) have been more than pleasant, welcoming, and grateful for the care provided before you became available to provide any input toward the end of his care. Your initial feedback with our agency was very warm, appropriate, and helpful. However, as noted by other family members, it became, more insisting, imposing, and unreasonable. My sincere apologies that Curantis fell short of "your" expectations, and we will always strive to do better to ensure that we provide excellent care for the clients we serve. Kirsten, caring for your dad was an absolute pleasure!

Hi Cheryl! Our first negative review! Welcome! While I am a bit suprised by your review, I absolutely welcome it as any review and feedback can only make Curantis as 1st class as we have built it to be. I guess I can' t be too surprised of a negative review from you since all but one of your reviews on Google are all negative about various companies. You must have a run of bad luck when dealing with local businesses. I truly hope you have better experiences in the future. My dumbfoundedness comes from the fact that EVERY transcaction I have ever had with you and your family was so positive, encouraging, and warm. You never expressed any concerns with Curantis or any of the services provided for your mother. She was sweet and we enjoyed having her as a client. Caregiver quitting... In keeping with ensuring that our clients are never overcharged (even by mistake) we reached out to OUR employee to ensure she discontinued clocking in early and out late. This ensures that you are receiving services for the agreed upon time and never overcharged. Trust me, this is an EXCELLENT practice. Two things that Curantis will never compromise on, is misbilling clients and mispaying employees. We called her 3 times. And to be clear, this particular caregiver put her resignation in due to personal issues that she said she needed to deal with and did not want to be a burden on the family with her issues. At least that is what she emailed us. You mentioned we could not provide a replacement for your caregiver when she called in sick... Your family is in one of the most remote rural areas in South Central PA. I am sure you remember the difficulty and how long it took to come up with the one caregiver you did have. Many companies and many industries have manpower issues at this time. Curantis is no exception unfortunately. As far a deception, I would REALLY like to know EXACTLY what you are referring to instead of your broad statement to disparrage our company. Please elaborate. We provide services with the UTMOST levels of integrity from the top down! You signed a client service agreement, we provided "exceptional service" according to you and your family and that agreement, you were charged and billed fairly, your were communicated with promptly, you were protected from being billed improperly by erroneous clock in's, and you received your deposit back as dictated in your service agreement. Again, (while negative and unwarranted this time) I truly do appreciate any feedback that we receive as it only helps us grow. You have our number if you would like to have any further discussion.
