Mike is great guy, professional,genuinely cares about you and the quality of his work. He did an excellent job!!!!. Im paralyzed on ssdi with an extremely tight budget and mike worked with me on the price big time, he literally saved me 3000$ compared to the 3 other quotes i got. He went above and WAY beyond, he cleaned up my entire yard with his skid steer and didnt charge me $1 dollar extra.
My basement kept flooding because the original sump pump was installed completely wrong. Mike jack hammered the hole and installed a brand new sump pump with a battery backup that will work if the power goes out. The sump pump is also connected to the wifi app on my phone alerting me when the sump pump is running or if it stops working for some reason. Since then I haven’t had a single drop of water in my basement.

Cant say nothing but high quality praise for this company. Start out dealing with michael is like dealing with family. The man and his team do above and beyond. I had issue with rain water entering my home he identified all the issues and addressed them he did a good job so i had him do my gutters, home new sliding and driveway.
During the recent hurricane in newport i called mike and he came direcrly from church and brung me a solution of 25 bags of mulch to block the water from entering my garage that was flooding taking time on a sunday from his family time. Outstanding. After identifying the reason why he immediately provided me a plan to solve it and redirect the water flow away from the house.
That said i do my research prices is affordavle compared to others. Professionally finished quick work and over all excellent communication.

I contacted Mike a few months back after finding his company's info on Google. We were able to set up a meeting very quickly and he immediately went to work figuring out the best solution for a leaky basement during heavy rains. We already had a basement system from another company, but it was often unable to keep up.
Mike was always open and communicative about his thoughts and he came up with a solution that I believe will keep our basement dry. This consisted of some re-grading work outside, as well as an outdoor drainage system. He was able to get everything done quickly once we came to an agreement, and it was clearly done by someone with a ton of experience. I highly recommend his services if you want good, thoughtful work at a reasonable price. He's a funny guy, too!

I started getting water in my basement at the beginning of 2024 and after a previous contractor failed to fix my problem, I called Mike. He was very attentive to all my initial questions, so we scheduled a consultation. He looked at my basement and came up with a detailed written plan and diagram for a French drain that could also tie in my sump pump output. He executed on that plan crisply and efficiently and I’m happy to say my basement has been dry ever since. Highly recommended!

I called and spoke with Michael about installing a path from a driveway to a front door which involved a slope down from the driveway to the door. Mike suggested we consider a path with no stairs using gravel which would be tamped down twice after being dug out by a six foot wide machine. I emphasized that I was concerned about safety due to the slope with using a stroller and having a family member with some balance issues going up and down a slope, especially during winter and asked repeatedly if he would also consider installing a step every few feet. I mentioned this more than once.He was telling me he thought it would be safe in the winter because it would drain well. Seemed to me that he didn’t want to consider my idea and request. After several back and forths he told me he wasn’t “retarded” and I didn’t need to keep repeating myself. I was simply asking for him to consider installing stairs. After that comment which took me by surprise he said that I was a difficult customer (!) and we decided to part ways. Fine with me. While his phone was still on he said a few expletives and I told him that I heard that. I’ve read a few reviews since then and it seems he tries to justify with his own explanation but no matter what, this behavior was totally unacceptable.
Mrs, Dickenson is a lunatic. She called me several times ranting not knowing who she was talking to mostly. Each time she called all she would do is complain about not being able to find a contractor that would work with her. I felt like I was her mental health provider. I am not. I am an excellent contractor. The truth of the matter is, Each time she called I was extremely patient with her. I never raised my voice, I always let her talk and did not interrupt her. She explained to me what she wanted and when I offered to her a solution shot it down. After rejecting my remedies, in the same breath would ask me if it's a mistake not doing what I proposed. I mean what other service provide would have been so kind to her? So eventually she agreed with my remedies and asked for a price. Now remember, I was as cool as a cucumber with her but had litigitimate concerns about working for her as she displayed to be a troublesome potential client. I told her I had some reservations working for her and tryed to offer her some advise in communicating properly with contractors because she is really veary disrespectful and quite honestly out in left field. I told her number one is to stop treating people like they are retarded and stupid. We'll she freaked out and wrote this review. For everyone who reads this. If you are a rude, pushey, disrespectful, impatient, Mr. Or Misses know it all call someone else!! A contractor doesn't need or have to do any work for you!
Be kind and patient to one another. We're tired of being mistreated by degenerate personalities!

If I could give Mike Tullo and My Home Solutions more than 5 stars I would. Mike and his employees are friendly, efficient, professional, and I would recommend them to anyone. All the way through Mike went above and beyond doing things he didn't need to do. We initially called Mike for a roof inspection. It was a Saturday afternoon so I thought I would leave a message but he answered. An appointment was scheduled for several days later. I had called other companies and none of them ever responded.
When Mike arrived he went into our attic and told us we needed a new roof as ours (less than a year old) was soaked and completely covered along with all of the contents with mold due to the installation of equipment to it. Since another company had the warranty on it I had to contact them so I could have Mike fix it. He agreed to help us with this process if we agreed to have him replace the roof. We shook hands and had an estimate from him that night.
Long story short, it took months to get the approval and payment from the other company. Mike was there to help the entire time. I think he might have sent more emails and made more phone calls than I did and there were lots of them. Absolutely not part of the job of a roofing contractor!
Once that part of the process was resolved Mike brought in his crew and removed all of the items from my attic. As they brought each item or box down they gave me the opportunity to check them and determine what we were going to or could save and what had to be trashed. The majority of items were not savable but only one really bothered me. It was an irreplaceable custom made dollhouse that my uncle had made for my daughter when she was young. I didn't think it could be saved. To my surprise Mike stopped by about a week later with the dollhouse that he had removed from the dumpster. He had taken the time to clean it and do the mold remediation on it. I was so surprised and thankful, now it can be passed on to my granddaughters. Again, above and beyond. Also so kind and thoughtful.
Once the attic was empty he sprayed to remediate the mold. Then on the day of the roof replacement they arrived on time and finished in less than a day. When it was completed Mike sprayed the attic again as a precaution then blew the leaves away from the foundation and sprayed it along with the entire house (definitely not part of the scope of work in the contract). When they left everything was cleaned up and you would have never known they were here. The roof is dry, sound, free of mold, and beautiful! I can't say enough good thins about Mike Tullo and My Home Solutions. I would hire him again in an instant.

I initially put off replacing this roof for quite a while because I so dreaded having to deal with the issues as a single woman, negotiating an expensive project such as this one, by myself. (Ladies …you know what I mean…) So I did my homework, I chose 3 companies and of the 3, MY HOME SOLUTIONS LLC, by far, literally put the other 2 to shame …just on the initial meeting!! Mike the owner, could not have been more perfect to alleviate my fears. On our 1st meeting, he had everything that was needed to be assessed and written up ..already done! He walked around my home with me and explained everything that was going on with the roof and why. He was able to give me suggestions… …recommendations. He went through the entire process, step by step with me. After his presentation, which was extremely thorough, I really had few questions. He had covered everything on my list. He gave me samples and the written contract to take home, which allowed me to take my time and go over it. On the morning the job was started, I was there, (still a little nervous) Mike introduced me to all of his workers, who were also very nice, friendly and respectful. Mike and his workers had the entire roof completed, including the sky window replacement, the whole house power washed, and EVERYTHING cleaned up, all in one day!! At the end of the day, all that was left was my home with a beautiful new roof and looking sparkling clean!! And need I add…. I have not come across one single stray nail anywhere on my property…. I would highly recommend MY HOME SOLUTIONS to anyone.
