I'm sure the company is very helpful on the front end. But, in the end the contract is set so many years out the machine is so far outdated and not connected to fax any longer it is a fancy hunk we pay $200 for monthly. On top of that we are automatically charged for "shipping costs" despite not receiving supplies for 2 years. When I asked about this I was told "The shipping costs are to cover cost of shipping of all supplies throughout the life of the contract. Instead of a one-time larger fee for shipping, we spread that out over the life of the contract."
This would be fine - if we used it!
We have had a positive experience working with CPI for our new Grooms Office Environments showroom in Springfield, MO! We ran into a few issues with tech over the past months since we moved into our new building, but their team has always been quick to get on the phone, email back, or come out to help troubleshoot the issues.
Best copier dealer in Springfield, MO. If you bought a copier from someone else. You are paying way too much.

We've been in business for 20 years, and this is the worst customer service experience we've ever had. From the outset, we were given incorrect information (see photo of email) about the printer and its capabilities. Then, the printer was set up incorrectly when it was delivered, and was double-charging us for each print. It took them nearly 3 months to figure out how to get it corrected.
Even after explaining the print requirements to them several times, we incurred additional expenses because the requested functionality did not function as promised. We were told it was available using the standard Xerox print driver, but that was not the case. As a result, we were forced to purchase a new Fiery server for an additional $125 per month.
We've had this printer for just over 3 months, and the print quality has decreased significantly. Every major part has had to be replaced, including the color drums (some twice), the fuser, and the transfer belt; yet we still experience blue spots, faded lines, and white patches on our prints. We have to sit and watch every sheet that comes out of the printer because we don't want to send bad prints to our customers.
On Thursday, we once again encountered blue dots all over our prints, but they refused to send a technician because we hadn't paid an invoice that wasn't due until the following Monday. Once it was brought to their attention that that was a breach of contract, they offered to send someone the next day. When the technician arrived, he didn't have the proper part (a cyan color drum) to fix the printer, so we offered to go pick it up from their warehouse and replace it ourselves, which we did. The part lasted exactly two days, and on Monday, the blue dots reappeared.
In the last 7 days, the printer has only been able to produce good prints for 3 of those days. We are so frustrated with their lack of service and unethical practices that we've had to hire an attorney. We have even reached out to the company president on multiple occasions to discuss these issues and have never received a response. This is not a company you want to do business with.
**Update** The owner of the company, Erik Crane, is now refusing to send parts even though their own technician indicated that the parts were bad. If you are considering purchasing a printer from CPI, do yourself a favor and call Lakeland Office Systems. They actually have printers in their office and know how to use them.

One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. They know NOTHING about papercut and we have had nothing but issue after issue after going with them. I wish I could leave negative stars. They always punt and do not want to take responsibility for their incompetence. I even went as far as sending emails to the CEO and got ZERO response. Great customer service. Check the pictures for one of the emails I sent.

I heard back from the CEO only after I emailed every email I could find in the company. They offered to move us to another provider for papercut support since they know nothing about it and Toshiba is not any better. This sounded great to me and I was ready to move forward. I was quoted..... Wait for it..... FIVE THOUSAND dollars to get our support moved to another company. Talk about scummy. Stay away at all costs. I welcome more discussion from the CEO on here as to why it would cost that much to change services with NO reimbursement for the horrible service we have received already. This is absolutely insane.

I wish I could give less than one. They are in the business of taking people for all they can get. Their turn over there is super high so they don't seem to care about their employees either. Our bill goes up and up and up when I thought I was getting one flat rate. They have tons of hidden fees. Horrible business
I am a small family owned business that knows the importance of great customer care and treating others as you want to be treated. That goes for more than just personal relationships but also business relationships. CPI does too. They were respectful, more than willing to answer any and all questions. Their pricing is very competitive and so is there service. Would highly recommend them.
We are a small company and we leased a printer from this company and have a maintenance agreement since about 4 years ago and regret it AND now I can not scan on their HP printer to my email and they want to blame Google and give me NO HELP, customer service manager was smug and rude, unprofessional and actually laughed at me for getting upset with them for not informing us and he could not care less. He actually hung up on me.
For a business level service provider who knew this problem was coming and it would effect some of their business clients, not once did they send out an communication warning its customers who have gmail of the issue and have a fix for it, it was handled very unprofessional, I was told they can come fix it but there would be an additional fee ( How convenient for them ).
Be WARNED doing business with this company.

Copy products have issues correcting erroneous billing errors, even after I have provided dated phone records as evidence to their billing mistakes. They are continuing to issue statements and interest charges in spite of my continued communication and evidence. This is disappointing. I will never engage with this company again. Signing a contract with them was a mistake I will not repeat. All this over $40...how sad.
