I would avoid this practice the best you can, this practice is extremely unprofessional, they will provide your personal information to anyone who calls and doesn't verify if it's actually you on the phone. The first therapist I saw was already quitting the practice and I transferred over to another therapist who spent more time talking about nonsense then actually assisting with the issues being brought up. After two months there was 0 progress as the sessions with said provider were just non sense. Even when they called to set up an intake appointment they were extremely rude and anyone I called to speak with. I found out that they deleted my initial intake information in which the therapist I was seeing actually didn't know anything about the issues I was seeking therapy for and was just guessing. I know their response to this will be their copy and pasted response to bad reviews. It's truly unfortunate this center operates so poorly. Disgusting behavior overall.
Horrible. Signed me up for therapy appointments I never asked for and charged me. Turns out they were under the wrong patients name. No excuses this is a horrible company, honestly worsened my mental health with how many administrative problems occurred. Do so much better, or better yet, shut down.

Thank you for your feedback. While we can’t discuss specific situations publicly, we encourage anyone with concerns, questions, or complaints to contact us privately at info@counselingwellnesspgh.com or 412-322-2129.
If I could put a lower rating somehow I would, this program will not allow me to post a review without choosing at least one star but I truly do not rate Renee (Counselor) or Allison Six (CRNP) even that high! This is a very uncaring, money hungry, shady organization. If at all possible seek help elsewhere!

Saw Chelsea twice and will not go back. Was expecting to get feedback but not the aggressive approach she has. Having depression and anxiety, this was not a good experience.

Edit: I’m trying to get in a group to help me with life skills, and you let people in based on vibes? Seriously? guess I’m “not a good fit” then.
Been trying to get into a group here, but no one answers the phone! They call back when I’m working and can’t answer and when I finally get the time to call, nothing. I couldn’t even get info on how much the workshop was. If you can’t sign up online, maybe have someone answer the phone!!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We apologize for the phone tag and understand how frustrating that can be.
We are reviewing our scheduling processes to prevent similar issues in the future. Group therapy requires an intake appointment with the facilitator to ensure it's a good fit and maintains a safe and welcoming space for all attendees, which is why online sign-up isn't available.

It was great. Charles and Stephanie are the epitome of grace. It was nice to be outdoors in October no less, practicing yoga in a park. Great for our bodies and the planet! I highly recommend. Every event that I have attended hosted by the Counseling and Wellness Center of Pittsburgh has been awesome.

We are so grateful for your sharing the morning with us flowing under the blue skies---we are very grateful for your kind feedback, hope to see you again soon!
Was looking forward to my appt in the s hills office and was hoping to get some help with my life, which I'm sure everyone understands. Had my 1 hour appointment with McKenna, spilled my guts and that was it. She promised she would email me after my appt with further resources and help in the areas of concern. No email, no re-schedule no nothing. If your in need of a therapist, I wouldn't recommend this practice. Just from my experience......Life is hard enough.
Forgot about my appointment on Monday- due to my mental health being in rough shape..
was charged $150. My co pay is $5. What a joke this business is..this is also after I told my psychiatrist that my insurance would be changing but she insisted that I keep the appointment regardless. Now look where we are. People in awful states of mental health are being robbed for missing an appointment. A TELEHEALTH apt at that! Not a call from the therapist saying " are you okay, I know you missed your apt.." maybe show some compassion for the people who choose to use your business! Sick.

Thank you for your feedback. Our 48-hour cancellation policy helps ensure we can serve as many people as possible who need mental health support.
When appointments are cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice, it's often too late for us to offer that time slot to someone else who may be waiting for care. This policy is standard practice across mental health practices and helps us maintain consistent access to services.
We make sure to review this policy during intake and include it in all our communications so everyone knows what to expect.
