Went in to sell my cards and the worker calculated the value a few times, each time it was a lower dollar amount and then when he handed me the money, he didn’t give me what he stated. When he looked at what I had, he stated that comp would be 50% for all the English cards that I had. He looked at conditions of a lot of what I had listed and no comment was made. Then I mentioned I had a few Japanese cards to sell as well and he mentioned that they do 40% for those since they aren’t as valuable. Which I was fine with. But then he tallied everything together and sold at 40% just because of the 250 plus cards that I sold, 30 of them were Japanese. I would’ve made more money just by donating the Japanese and comping all of the English at 50%. Then when I got the money he shorted me $10. I am from out of town and wanted to get back home.

Hey Craig! When we value a collection of cards we have to check condition and recent sales. Sometimes when double checking cards we can notice damage or a different (lower or higher) sale of that card. If you stop back in or give us a call we can go over your trade for better clarification! Every location is clean and the items are taken care of with passion. I played sports and love sports memorabilia. From signed jerseys(Hull), baseball post card(Schmidt), signed basketball(Cheeks)and a few small things(Topps, UD boxes) I gotten everything from the EC store. I just wish there was a bit more 🏒 stuff. Other than that, it's worth the trip to any location just to take you back to our past time.

Be careful with this location. I was shopping Magic The Gathering cards and heard the representative boast about getting cheap cards from a customer and flipping them for $100+ profit. Their trade values are harsh, go find another provider where the trade in value is 85%, not 50 - 55% of TCG Player value (This is what they use for comps). Edited to address the owner's comment below: My friend brought in graded cards and she was offered 50% of what the guy quoted them at. You don't address the fact that you have an employee boasting, in the store, about scamming a customer. Next time I go in, I'll record audio in my purse and send a copy of the proof these employees are making your entire company look like scum. Also, using generally before FAR BETTER means nothing. If you use a website and have these so called set percentages, there should be consistency. I'm not trying to open a card shop, I can care less about your logistics. Sellers/traders beware.

Hey Lady Shenzii! We pay 45-55% for $1-9 cards and up to 60-65% for higher end Magic trades. This is generally FAR BETTER than any other store in our area. We also give every customer our best advice when they're looking to sell/trade their cards. If we think they're better off selling online or on Marketplace, we tell them to do so! Feel free to stop in and we can better explain the logistics of running a Hobby Shop with 7 locations and 80+ employees!

2 cards I had a venesaur alt art and a magikarp and warlord tag team promo word 200 total and they would not give me more than 55 dollars absolutely atrocious essentially a robbery sell your cards somewhere else

Hey Ethan! We typically pay 60-70% for higher end cards like these in Near Mint condition. It seems one of your cards were in Light, Moderate, or Heavy Play condition which lowered the value. It sounds like we offered around 55% for your cards, and you heard $55. If you bring these cards back in we could better explain our process.

The card was labeled wrong as 50.00. I dont know much about cards but the worker looked at it and he goes this has to be mislabeled. He proceeded to charge us 5.00!!!! The straight honesty is amazing. This place is insanely awesome and nice. I know nothing about cards. If you know very little this place will treat you right!

I come in here a lot in my free time and it’s always a great time. Whether I come in to buy or just chill and chat with people, they always treat me well. The staff is great and they treat me like family when I come in, and I never fail to have a nice time when I stop in. This place has become my comfort hangout spot, will always stop here!

Honestly worse than scalpers because they get their sealed product for way cheaper and charge market prices - the greed in this economy is crazy. They aren't terribly well run either - say they're always buying but if the one employee that knows it in the store isn't there they won't touch it as if you can't just look on a computer and do research on your own. I'll stick to getting my supplies on Amazon and driving out of town to play the games I love.

Hey Shawn! We know market price for TCG products can be very frustrating. When we can help it, we're always under that market price or at least we're the best price in town. We've been giving our league players better pricing on products and have been able to lower the prices now more than ever. Also, with how many products we have, its impossible for every employee to know EVERY product efficiently. Its always best to call when you have trades other than Pokemon, Magic, or sports singles. Amazing store. Selection was top tier and literally couldn't complain about the pricing. They had boxes and packs for every budget from low end to high end. They had the fun rips you don't expect to see they had the crazy expensive stuff you also rarely see. Very helpful staff will be a new favorite spot for me and my wife. Sports, lorcana, pokemon, magic, other various tcg they had it all and in a beautiful store I didn't even start to dive into all the value boxes they have too.
