Cool place, had a decent selection. Most cards are going to be market price. Main problem is that it’s already hard enough to support your LCS, especially when they are charging way above market. Pokemon Prismatic SPCs being priced at $315 when TCG is 285-300 is wild. Especially if you are getting your product from distributors which means you’re already getting the product at msrp ($70) or lower. Why would I pay that when I can buy one on eBay or Facebook Marketplace for a fourth of the price
Edit: that being said the employees are very nice. Shame they have to push such horrible prices on every TCG set.
Had an evolving skies ETB marked at $100 over comps. Said they don’t negotiate sealed prices. Only card store I’ve ever been to that sells stuff secondary market price but don’t negotiate. If that’s the case you would think they would mark it at market instead of trying to rip people off. Safe to say I will not be going here again
I worked as a camp counselor and one of the campers had some Pokemon cards stolen. I went to this store to find & replace the stolen cards and not only did a staff member help me find the cards I was looking for, he gave me a couple cards & a pack on the house! When I gave the cards & the pack to the camper he was absolutely thrilled! Can’t speak highly enough of this store.
