Very disappointed My sister and I visited Adams farm for the ‘enchanted light trail. It was our first and last visit. We were very disappointed in the lights and I’ve seen better lights on houses just walking round the local streets. We loved feeding the animals but wished we had each been given a bag of food rather than sharing one. Very over priced for what it was. I’m sure lots of children had fun and loved the lights. Sadly not as much fun for grown ups.

Amazing day and night We visited as a couple for both the day and the evening lights. Firstly the staff can not do enough to help you - a special shout out to Alison Kirk from the admin team who really helped us before our visit answering our questions by email and really went above and beyond to help our visit. All of the other staff were great but unfortunately I didn’t get their names. We had a travel issue which meant we arrived several hours late for a time slot - we still received a very warm welcome. The animals are well cared for and have plenty of space. Spring may be traditionally the time for baby animals but there were still plenty of baby farm yard animals including highland cow calf’s, a baby donkey and piglets which were only 3 days old. It’s great that if you have a blue badge you can bring a carer for free for both day and night. The rare breed paddocks are muddy so can be hard going in a manual wheelchair. You can but animal food to feed the animals, the hand washing facilities in the barns are great but they could do with a few more on the rare breed trails. Plenty of parking available. Between the day and evening sessions you have to leave but we went to the cafe on site and we had festive burgers - best thing is they cater for a wide range of diets and have lots of gluten free options including hot dogs and burgers. On the light trail, you can stop at some fire pits and purchase refreshments, again a wide choice and you can toast your own s’mores. Both the day and the evening at a relaxed pace are lovely for an hour or so and I would recommend. Thanks everyone for a great day.

Enchanted light trail visit We visited the Enchanted Light Trail with 2 young children and we had a great time. The light display is well done with animal shapes, some 3d life size, made of lights, and trees, bushes etc also mood lit, and if you turn up and walk briskly through without stopping or paying attention you can be through in 20 minutes but you'll miss out. The real highlights aren't the lights even if its advertised as a light trail. The route leads through some of the animal barns where you can handle and feed pigs, sheep, goats, cows, rabbits, and guinea pigs. There's a large indoor adventure playground for kids, and also a rest area where you can buy food and drink, if you haven't taken your own which is allowed. This area also has open fire pits where you can roast s'mores. If you take advantage of what's there it's worth it. We were there for around 2 hours which flew by and the kids loved it. Not bad Farm shop at the end as well.

Always fantastic Fantastic. My 4 year old always has a wonderful time here & never wants to leave! From amazing animals, the petting area in the barns, great education from staff (eg recently we had a talk from staff about the rare breed piglets and got to go into the enclosure), nice indoor & outdoor play area, zip wires, huge bouncy pillows (outside), a forest trail where kids can learn about wildlife, great food with nice inside or outside set up & very friendly staff…a lovely day out! Often there are events, eg. Pumpkin picking which was fun for the kids and included free face painting this year..a huge hit with my 4 year old. There is great access for prams around the park too. Thank you to all the staff, you do a great job.

What a great place Stopped on the campsite for 3 days explored the farm park while we were there. It is a wonderfull place with so many animals many are rare breeds. It was good to here and see the great work that was being done. We used to take our children and grandchildren when they were younger, we. Always had tears when it was time to go. On this occasion we were with several friends and we all had a good time.

Friendly Staff Nice Experience We just got back from the Christmas light trail, us and our 2 year old son loved it. We had been last year and we enjoyed it just as much as this year. It was really refreshing to see how friendly and nice the staff working there were, each one had a smile on their face and couldn't do enough to help. The outside food area was a nice touch with little camp fires to roast your s'mores over. The live music/singer was pretty good aswell. We were there for nearly two hours and the time just flew by. Would definitely recommend.

Overrated We booked to take children to the Christmas lights trail at the Cotswold farm park, to say we were disappointed was an understatement, very expensive for a 15 minute walk around and under staffed at the food/ drink areas,

Cotswold Farm Park is a winner! Out two year old grandson had an AMAZING couple of hours at the farm . He cuddled baby guinea pigs, rabbits and loved the pigs. However , the highlight of his trip was driving the little electric tractors with his daddy and other members of his family. A fantastic experience and well worth the entry fee! Thank you to ALL the staff for being so helpful and friendly.

A good morning out- but bring a picnic Visited the farm park with my family including my toddler Grandson today and it was very enjoyable. The site and attractions are very accessible, the play areas very nice and it was lovely to get so close to the animals, including some very lively and funny piglets. The only thing to let it down is the quality of the hot food in the café, service was great with very friendly staff but the meals were expensive and in my case, (mac n cheese), really quite unpleasant to taste and I left most of it, my husband was completely underwhelmed by the sausage and chips too. I think it's a shame because the shop is lovely and the whole place feels like quality but next time we will bring a picnic.

Huge Disappointment Being a huge fan of Country File and especially Adams farm inserts we decided to visit his farm during our first trip to the Cotswolds. We were in for a huge surprise to see how commercialised it was! We just wanted to pop in for a light snack and get a feel of the farm. Sadly the restaurant was completely soulless and lacked atmosphere and any hint of it being part of the farm. The staff had obviously being busy being a Friday half term afternoon as the car park was jam packed but, they lacked customer service and courtesy as they were quite rude when we enquired about eating there as it was 2.50 and they stop serving at 3pm. We had driven a long way to get there and were looking forward to a light meal but after the curt response and then looking at the overpriced sweet offerings which were unimpressive to say the least we decided to leave. The gift shop is also overpriced compared to other shops in the Cotswolds selling the exact same products. Sadly the whole experience has left me saddened and disappointed an my impression of the farm ruined. There are so many other really great farm shops with good food and friendly staff that we would definitely not make an effort to go back.

Great farm but food a let down We found this a very informative visit. We have an interest in rare breeds and found the information supplied really interesting. The animals were great with a good range. The animals all enjoy being fed much to our little ones entertainment. It is more compact than other farms we have visited. The play equipment looked good but our little one is too small to enjoy it. The reason for the 4 stars is the food. £12.50 for a burger and a few chips was over priced. The burger or the chips weren’t piping hot, there was no need to cool it for our toddler to eat. It was half term and the restaurant was busy which I suspect the food was cooked in anticipation of it being busy. We have been to other farm parks which had much higher quality food for better a price. The pumpkin patch was a great added bonus with tokens given on entry and the opportunity to buy more for a £1 each.

Ok if there's nothing else on your agenda It's ok, but just. The cafe and shop are really good. We were disappointed with the limited range of animals vs the cost of entry. The only real good play equipment are the trampoline air things, the kids love them. We've been to many better farms than this one.

Family & friends visit glamping pods we stayed here for two days this week on glamping pod 3. we were with two other families and after reading other reviews I was worried we'd struggle to fill out day but with children from 9-13 they loved it. The animal paddocks & barns were lovely and immaculately clean, we loved the naughty cheeky little piglets. The park was fab the kids loved it, catered for all ages. We did take a picnic and flask of tea but I did think £2.80 for 1 tea was a bit over priced when a boxes adult meal was only £5. We also got tokens to the pumpkin patch during our stay which was a great bonus we weren't expecting All the staff were super friendly and helpful everywhere we went, specifically Graham in the animal baarn and the campsite warden. The campsite facilities were immaculate, there was a small kitchen with toaster,. kettle, microwave, washing machines and fridge/freezer. There was also a drying room which is a great facility when camping for coats etc. The pods were clean, basic as expected. ours had three bean bags (should've had four) and the torch was missing, this didn't matter as we camp regularly so packed our own equipment. The pods had lights, heaters a small table and electrical points. They were great for a night or two. I'd definitely come again and recommend both the campsite and the farm park, the only disappointment was not seeing Adam ? but I'm sure he's busy with other projects & I was over the moon to met his beautiful Suffolk Punches ❤️

3rd visit - still a special day out...but at a cost! This is the 3rd time we have visited the park and with the covid restrictions in place it was.....OK. The park is special in its quest to educate and protect the wild breeds of this country and the farm has kept that essence alive despite the restrictions with all of the goat, sheep and cattle pens still open to visitors and able to feed them/have a stroke etc. The biggest change from when we were there last is the obvious removal of things like the tractor ride, petting the animals in the small barn, talks about cattle and milking, the bouncy pillow etc where large groups could interact. We were not aware of this (maybe we should have read further on line but it wasnt obvious). Same with the "Pumpkin Experience" which was a token for a pumpkin about the size of a tennis ball....then scaling up in tokens/price to using all of the groups tokens for something the size of a small mini-football.....again, this was new and also there was no carving as there had been in the past as an activity..... The biggest downside also was the food with now a restricted menu and choice but also seemingly a decline in the quality of the food available. We had to send one meal back and 3 of the others were OK at best; not good at worst which was a shame, especially coming in at over £60 for lunch. The reason for siting these things is so that people are aware before heading out that have maybe been there in the past and expecting the high level of interaction and engagement for children - we paid £80 for our tickets (£160 if you include lunch and a coffee.....) for what was an OK day.....

Not Value For Money- Poorer Experience Compared to Previous Visits Visited the farm park with my two kids, been before and had great days out and fantastic memories with the live demonstrations, animal handling and tractor rides and easily spent a day there, this year however very disappointing experience, appreciate Covid times may restrict or, did restrict some activities, but the lack of activities and removal of a key part of the day out, is not reflected in the price, £57 for a family of four to visit does not reflect good value for money today when compared to our previous experience Sadly likely to be our last ever visit to the park which is sad given the enjoyment we have had in the past, but the park seems to have lost the values of what it was founded on, the education, the hands on experience the demonstrations, which all combined supports the preservation and rare breed work. Yes you can read the £3k info boards but it’s doesn’t replace the hands in experience, Also more disappointed that the website does not reflect the changes, indeed even the jumping pillows were closed for the morning but opened later in the day - why? So in the past could have easily spend a day at Cotswolds Farm Park but with the lack of activities you could be in and round the park in an hour! If you’ve young kids you’ll possibly get around a few hours but for older kids, there is only so may times you can walk round the animals before the novelty wears off for them - so overall, disappointing experience and not value for money on today’s evidence!

Good day out We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the farm and managed to get our grandson to tear himself away from the various children’s activities and visit the animals. We found the cafes were good value with helpful staff. I asked staff at the entrance if there was a map available, or an information board, which would tell us where the various walks were and things like nappy changing/toilets/picnic tables etc but they were disinterested in this question and just said ‘no’. I think the provision of either a map or a board would be very helpful on this big site and would have made life easier for us. We didn’t have time for venturing out on to the longer farm walk and didn’t spot any signs to it either.

Top Farm What a special place this was !!! A lot of well-being animals and what a good job they do to keep it interesting for all. Anyone who can should stop by to see the magnificent Highland cattle.
