Georgie has put a lot of thought in to making the cabin comfortable. The bathroom had a fabulous shower! Excellent free laundry.
Loved the campfire with all the animals especially the cow!
The location was remote and unique. Loved the vast open space which was perfect for viewing sunrises and sunsets. The night sky was sensational!
☹ Unfortunately there were lots of rats at night because of a current rat plague in the whole area.
Lots of swearing around the campfire which may not suit everyone.

An outstanding farm stay experience. The roaming animals, artesian water baths and the huge camp fire made this a very unique outback adventure. First time I have shared a camp fire with 2 cows! ;)

This place isn’t what you think when you drive in! Don’t judge a book by its cover! We just spend the last 2 nights here and could have stayed longer! Our kids rate this their No.1 camp since being on the rd! Georgie and Eric are awesome hosts, allow free range for the kids to interact with all the farm animals and help with the feeding. The array of farm animals is amazing and sitting around the fire was a great way to end the night! The artesian baths at your disposal is a beautiful experience then enjoying a meal around Georgie’s dinner table seals the deal! Highly recommend this place if you are prepared to enjoy the real Outback QLD! Not for all but 100% for us!!!

Georgie and Eric run a fantastic and quirky farm stay. Roaming chooks, roosters, geese, guinea fowl, goats with kids, sheep with lambs, Millie the cow, Maisie the calf, Gemma the brown kid and Ziggy the Kelpie.
Georgie is a great cook and served delicious fare from a limited menu.
Thoroughly recommend this CP++++

A lovely little farm stay with a menagerie of native and farm animals. Georgina’s cooking is excellent and she was happy to adjust the menu to suit our requirements. We had a lovely stay and will hopefully be back.

What an amazing place to stay, nights around the camp fire with other guests, Gorgie is a wonderful cook ,food was delicious and fresh.
Would recommend this home stay to anyone looking for something different. Has camping and van sites.

Being farm raised myself, as soon as we pulled in I felt right at home. Our hosts were genuine and friendly, and the farm animals were equally so. Had a nice cold evening around the fire and a good night sleep. Very much enjoyed it.

Awesome stopover at this lovely quirky place. Genuine Aussie hospitality from a lovely host who provided our delicious home cooked meal and catered for my gluten free requirements as a coeliac. We had great company from our fellow campers and a highlight was the artesian bathtub in the paddock under the stars.

This place is an Amazing outback oasis. If your going to Julia Creek or going to Richmond stop here! Peaceful campgrounds with a huge variety of friendly animals. There is a cute little calf that wanders around and so many peacpocks and little Guinea fowls. There is also a huge flock of goats. This place is very kid friendly as the little ones will love it rooms are cheap for a outback camp. I got a cabin for 170 dollars meals included which has a clean inside and good aircon. This place Is way better than the hotel at Julia Creek so stay here instead!
