Seemed uninterested about the wellbeing or me or my kids. After the call I got more information from Google on NC's laws and how to make the best choices without the judgment.

I was going through a very complex divorce including two businesses in the mix and many assets. Linda Ellison spoke about how much she would help me with the paperwork and how we were a team. She gave me the impression she was expert. Once in court she could not articulate even the simplest statements, didn't have anything organized, would say to the judge " I am not sure" did not even question my ex wife/her attorney about the many discrepancies their party had stated, did not object a single time. Afterwards when I questioned her she said she forgot her notes. I wasted 50,000$ plus what she lost me in the divorce itself and was a complete embarrassment. I could not contact anyone from the law firm except Linda. I could not get into contact to leave any comments, questions or complaints. They refused to call me back even after saying they would regarding my experience. I question the validity of the firm and deeply wished I would have seen their horrible reviews before wasting my time and money with them. Run do not walk away from this firm. Better off representing yourself least your money would go to someone you knew instead of a lawyer.

Tens of thousands of dollars spent, but at the end of the day I still got screwed. Best advice is never get married unless you are damned sure that the person is right for you. When you're young, you don't think about the fact that people change. It's inevitable and if their change goes in a direction that is different than yours, then problems rush in.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Paid over $10,000 on an uncontested divorce with no children nor assets/debts. Communication was awful. Was charged horrific amounts of money for phone calls that I didn't get to answer. Was also charged for having a "get to know you" conversation with my attorney at the courthouse that did not pertain to the case. I did not know it costed $600 to travel 10 minutes to the courthouse for trial. If I would've known that I was going to spend $10,000 I would have went on vacation instead. Cordell & Cordell is a straight scam, I would not recommend this company to anybody. I will not be using them again.

I spent $6,000 only to suffer a defeat—a defeat resulting from a complete lack of effort and commitment, yet one that carries consequences for my future. The service is abysmal; do not trust them.
