Our driveway is worse than before. It has crumbled in spots and is not level so water pools on one side. I have been trying to get them to fix it and Tom gives me the same line every time I call. I’ll be there next week…NO SHOW! I’ll be there in three weeks…NO SHOW! Same lies over and over. Tom has now blocked my number so I cannot reach him. DO NOT fall for the Irish accent. DO NOT use this company! They are liars and cheats!

My wife & I had been speaking about widening our driveway. By coincidence, Prime Paving knocked on our door. Jonny Cash (no lie), with a thick Irish brogue, gave us his sales pitch on how they were doing work in the area & because they had equipment here, they could offer a discount on any paving work. I explained to him that we were happy to have a discount but what we really wanted was quality materials and work. Our driveway was excellent. We just wanted it larger. Jonny said that they were second generation pavers & assured me that quality is what we could get. We made a deal & shook hands. Jonny said, God bless you”, and so it began. He was very charming. The 3rd world job we got, as you will see, was a disaster. I was out of town when the work was done. When they finished my wife paid them & they were gone. When I got home, I see concrete stains in the road in front of my house. The work was done 3 months ago & they are still there. The Belgium block landing is comical! The joints are HUGE. The blocks are poorly placed & they’re covered in concrete. They randomly chopped away at one of our hedges when it could have been tied back. There’s concrete in our lawn now & you can see that there’s filler mixed in with the asphalt. There is a skid mark from some heavy equipment. Our lawn hose was covered in concrete & the place was left a mess. Additionally, they got tar on my wife’s truck & just left it. The worst part is that they cut through out irrigation system in 3 places & the water was being discharged under the driveway. I could not be more dissatisfied. Clearly, the work was done by inexperienced, unqualified, workers. They could have been day labors, picked up from the road. They did not get one thing right. Nothing. I called Jonny & explained the nightmare. The irrigation guys said to repair the job properly the driveway would need to be removed. I said, “Jonnie, you’re going to have to fix this or I’m gonna have to sue you”. “No, no. We don’t want that. I, unfortunately, have to update my review and remove our recommendation. I really am sorry to have to do so. We noticed top left side of the walkway started to buckle, causing gaps between pavers, less than 2 months after installation. I reached out to Tom Oct 1st,sending photos, to let him know. He told me it wasn’t a big issue and would be a quick fix. I didn’t hear anything else from him, texted him in November and ended up calling again in December. He came out in December to see and confirmed it wasn’t leveled properly but was too cold to fix now but he would take care of it in Spring. I have texted and spoken to Tom at least a dozen times since to find out when he’s going to fix this. He says he’ll be “in the area” and come by but never shows up or contacts me to give me any update. While I understand he has other clients, when something has been done wrong on a “completed” job, I would think it would be a priority to make it right and shouldn’t hinge on being “in the area”. I am frustrated with repeatedly having to reach out to Tom about this and disappointed with the lack of customer service or any communication on his part. I expect a company to stand behind the quality of their work and they have not. At this point, we’ll be trying to find another company, and have to pay more money, to get this fixed. (We reached out to Tom for an estimate to redo our driveway and Belgium block, which had damage from a nearby tree, as well as install curb in the front and a new walkway. We had some issues with our Village permits department in that my driveway was not finished properly. He was given the requirements on the permit application but chose to ignore. This was a simple fix, but could never get them to come back to resolve. 3 of my neighbors had the same problem and experience! The driveway itself looks fine but I wouldn’t trust this company to do anymore work on my property. After the work was completed, we noticed three tools were missing from our yard. We contacted Tom and he promised to look for them but couldn’t find them. This caused me to pull our security camera footage and it was obvious that his employees stole them. On top of that, while checking the footage, at least three of his employees urinated in our bushes within minutes of arriving. We contacted Tom again, who promised to reimburse us for the items taken and apologized for his employees behavior. However, it’s now been almost three weeks with no reimbursement and I shouldn’t have to chase Tom down for payment, it should be the priority of any business owner to promptly refund a client when his employees stole from them. It is disrespectful and disappointing that we trusted these people to come onto our property to do a job only to have them steal and urinate. Edit: Tom did reimburse us on November 7th, more than 3 weeks later

Don’t recommend The driveway itself looks fine but I wouldn’t trust this company to do anymore work on my property. After the work was completed, we noticed three tools were missing from our yard. We contacted Tom and he promised to look for them but couldn’t find them. This caused me to pull our security camera footage and it was obvious that his employees stole them. On top of that, while checking the footage, at least three of his employees urinated in our bushes within minutes of arriving. We contacted Tom again, who promised to reimburse us for the items taken and apologized for his employees behavior. However, it’s now been almost three weeks with no reimbursement and I shouldn’t have to chase Tom down for payment, it should be the priority of any business owner to promptly refund a client when his employees stole from them. It is disrespectful and disappointing that we trusted these people to come onto our property to do a job only to have them steal and urinate.
