My experience with this firm, and specifically with Ms. D. Perez, was extremely disappointing. In my personal opinion, she did not review my case or evidence carefully. I submitted certified-mail receipts, timelines, CFPB documents, and call transcripts showing multiple FDCPA/FCRA issues with the collector, yet she still advised me to call the collection agency again — even though doing so can harm a consumer under the FDCPA and may reset certain timelines.
She also told me my credit report was “accurate,” even though the collector (in my view) committed multiple violations, including:
• reporting two different balances,
• failing to validate the debt (§1692g),
• reporting during an active dispute (§1692g(b)),
• failing to mark the debt as disputed (FCRA §1681s-2(a)(3)),
• furnishing inaccurate/incomplete information (FCRA §1681e(b)),
• misrepresenting the status/amount of the debt (§1692e), and
• sending redacted, unverifiable “manual adjustment” documents instead of proper validation.
I also requested multiple times — by email and text — to escalate my case or have an attorney review it. My requests were ignored, and I never received communication from a licensed attorney. As a disabled veteran and a parent to a medically fragile child, I reached out for real legal support and instead felt dismissed and unsupported.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this firm for anyone seeking knowledgeable or thorough FCRA/FDCPA guidance.
UPDATE: I did reach out as requested, but unfortunately I received the exact same form email again from Ms. Perez without any acknowledgment of the details I had already provided. None of the concerns I raised were addressed, and it appears my file was not reviewed despite the documentation I submitted.
I would have appreciated a meaningful response or clarification, but instead I received a duplicate message that did not engage with anything I wrote. My review reflects my actual experience and the difficulty of trying to resolve this.

Our firm handles complex FCRA and FDCPA litigation on a no-out-of-pocket basis, which means we must first conduct an internal investigation to determine whether a case falls within the types of claims we can ethically and effectively pursue in federal court. That initial process is handled by our intake team. If the evidence supports a viable claim under our practice areas, the file is then escalated to an attorney, who personally reaches out to the client. If the investigation does not establish a litigable violation under our standards, we cannot in good faith assign the matter to counsel. To be very clear: this does not mean you have no FCRA or FDCPA claim. It means the specific issues presented did not fall within the categories of cases our firm is able to take on and litigate.
We are a private law firm and do not charge clients up front. Because of that structure, we are limited in the volume and type of cases we can accept, even when a consumer is experiencing real difficulties. That reality does not diminish the challenges you were facing, and we regret that we were unable to offer you the legal pathway you hoped for.
Regarding your update: it appears that a follow-up communication reiterated the same conclusion from our review, not because your concerns were ignored, but because our determination had not changed. I had an amazing experience with this law firm. From the legal support staff to the lawyers, they are exceptional. I’d like to give a special shoutout to Ms. Perez and attorney Dan Cohen for fixing all sorts of mistakes on my credit report. It cost me nothing out of pocket. They answer calls and texts 24/7 (sorry for calling so much lol). What more can you ask for

Consumer Attorneys commit billing fraud. Whenever you hire them, please get an Itemized Billing Statement after each settlement. I have attached pictures of a letter the attorney that I retained sent them. Please review. In my case they charged egregious fees of over 60% of the settlement. They claimed that they bill the client a percentage and the Defendants hourly, but all fees came directly out of my settlement without the Defendants ever being billed. This was a clever way to circumvent the 40% cap recovery fees for attorneys taking cases on contingency. I caught them and right now CA and I are in a fee dispute with the fees being frozen in their Client Trust account. Again, please look at the pictures that I attached.
Amazing! From the first day working with me they were swift and got right into action and never gave up until results were shown highly highly recommended.

The service was great with repairing my credit but the service is incomplete.if you could handle the rest of my lawsuits my package and information should have been handed to a lawyer that could help me file suits against the loan company and dealership for not properly identifying the people involved..I am still looking for justice..my case is incomplete..
