PS5 no longer turned on following a lightning strike to the house. Contacted Console Portal and they were well up for taking a look and repairing it if they could. Sent it in the post. Updates were slow but when I called for updates I did get very friendly response and was told what was happening. They had it for about a week and managed to repair more than one damaged component and get the console working perfectly again. I had it back a week from sending it. Very happy and fully recommend.

Local Guy Couldn't Do It, Console Portal Nailed It FAST!
During an interior clean of my PS5, I was a little too heavy-handed and managed to detach my PS5's cooling fan from the motherboard. My reliable local technician, whom I've used for 12 years, tried for 10 days but couldn't fix it. After researching online, I decided to give Console Portal a shot and I also opted for their £19.99 cleaning service while it was being fixed.
The results were astounding.
My console was picked up free of charge on Wednesday morning (free on repairs over £40), and in less than 24 hours, I received a text letting me know the repair was complete!

Fantastic service!! First time customer and was going off their excellent ratings online.
My PS5's disc drive had stopped reading discs so after my son kept pestering me I thought it's about time I got it fixed. After searching the internet for sometime I stumbled across Console Portal.
I placed my order online on a Saturday morning for a disc drive repair and additional cleaning, then phoned the shop to arrange collection. I chose to drop off at my local post office option and was sent a QR code via email. I packed the PS5 in it's original box and dropped it off at the post office Monday morning.
I tracked the shipping via the Royal Mail app and it was delivered Tuesday lunchtime with a nice photo 😁.
I received a phone call Wednesday afternoon telling me all was fixed and checking that someone would be at home the next day for delivery. It arrived Thursday at around 11:00 and I couldn't have been more pleased with the service and price especially when compared to other companies.
5 stars from me all day long and won't hesitate to use Console Portal again when needed. 👍🏻
