Dinner at 4:30. Very nice and quiet with great service. We loved all the dishes we ordered (see photo attached). Everything cooked perfectly including the scallops! I do wish the dishes a bit larger portions but they are delicious that Quality wins over Quantity. We ordered 4 dishes for 3 of us. Would come again

I came with a friend yesterday looking forward to delicious food, and instead walked out hungry. The host did not walk us to a table, just pointed us in a vague direction and left us to guess. We were given menus and a teapot was placed on the far corner of the table—and that was it. A large amount of restaurant staff walked around doing mostly nothing, even turning away from us if we made eye contact. I tried raising my hand, I tried saying loudly that we would like to order food, and nothing. There was no reaction to us putting our jackets and bags on, and no reaction as we walked past them to leave.
The restaurant was not understaffed, plenty of tables were open, and other customers seemed to have food on their tables. There was no excuse to treat us the way they did.
My friend and I have visited twice before, and it was difficult to get service, but never outright impossible. It goes without saying we will never be back, nor will we ever visit Congee Village’s other location.

We had a nice family style meal with multiple dishes. The service was really good, especially as we were past of a 50+ person party.
