Regular maintenance went pretty well (oil changes etc) and the costco coupon helps a bit with anything else. Once I got a Pre-Purchase Inspection on a used sedan though, I realized that the owner was more of a salesman than a mechanic. You can argue that the extremely high quoted prices for repair helps bargaining prices on a used car. For example, a $450 price overall for a sun visor that is 5 minutes of work + $20 third party. Or a pair of brakes completely replaced for $650 which was quoted $400 somewhere else. There's also engine codes 'diagnosed' from here that have not been actually recreated by my own equipment or by any other mechanic. Overall, 3 grand of services recommended for a car that's worth 4 grand. I'm ready to accept that maybe something I did and the other mechanics did weren't thorough in some fashion. But as a consumer, there's a substantial price difference between this store & others around Ann Arbor and cities of SE Michigan. Look somewhere else.

BEWARE!!!! Do not trust the “God” sign out front! I wish I would have read the reviews before going in! VERY PUSHY! They dont take no for an answer! Went in for a tire repair($50?), they kept pushing their diagnostic test ($200)tried to tell them no thanks I have a mechanic, I only had a short window of time, but because I didn’t say the word NO exactly they did it anyway!! Charged me the $200 & never fixed the tire & wanted another $50 for that!! I actually had to run out of the place! Owner called & offered to repair the tire for the $200 I already paid?!! NO THANKS!! I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THERE AGAIN!! Word of mouth is everything, I have told many people about my experience come to find out they are well known for this pushy tactic. Went to discount tire, the repair was FREE! Bad shop, go elsewhere! UPDATE… My tires were 1yr old tires, definitely not bald. Also, you don't know me so don't try to justify your PUSHY sales tactics as “concern” for me! Also when I stepped foot in your establishment I told you I didn’t have a lot of time I needed to pick up my son from an appointment that YOU made me 20 mins late for. It shouldn’t take over 1-1/2 hrs to fix a flat tire. Shame on you for what you do to people! CUSTOMER BEWARE… read the bad reviews & you will see a common thread. Since telling people about this shop many have said they know about it & a lot of them already knew to stay away. I was never rude to them just giving people a fair warning so they don't get ripped off. Just wondering if anyone else is surprised by this guys “Christian” response?! Especially since most of the story he is telling isn’t accurate/true???

Efficient, fast, and honest. Brittany working intake is amazing, very friendly, and incredibly helpful. I wish we had a local garage like this where I live. Highly recommend!

my van was involved in a minor accident that damaged the radiator and the shop did a great job of quickly assessing the damages and texting me pictures. I recommend them to others.

Asked about timing on Friday afternoon - was told to bring the vehicle in on Monday. Time in to check out air conditioning that hasn’t worked for years - 8:02 am. Time that I picked up the vehicle with fully functional AC - 11:40 am. When they say they’re fastest in town, they mean it. They’re super friendly, and they made it clear that solving our problem was important to them. I’ll be going back for sure!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Complete Ripoff save your time and money go to a real mechanic!! Went here for my car giving me problems with cutting off while driving over a period of time. First there diagnostic cost is ridiculous 189 for a diagnostic? Anyway they did the diagnosis and came back with nothing at all they told me about codes on my car that were irrelevant to my issue that I came for. I ended up spending 300 + dollars And the issue was not fixed. I called back a day later and let them know it wasn’t resolved and they told me they would call me back and never did. I went to another mechanic and found out that it was just a simple radiator fan issue and my car was overheating and the temperature sensors was cutting my car off for it wouldn’t cause damage to the engine. The mechanic told me even an average mechanic would have known that. I’m very upset that I wasted 300+ dollars here but at least I can help someone else to not make the same mistakes.

Brought our car (2020 Ford Edge) here in November after the engine started smoking. We were told it needed an entirely new engine, so, we saved our money and recently brought it to Varsity Ford to have it replaced in case a future recall or related issue came about. Turns out, the diagnosis from Complete Auto Service was completely wrong and it needs repairs that will cost a quarter of the price of an engine replacement. We paid an astronomical amount ($190) for a wrong diagnosis, plus they didn’t honor the towing deal listed on their website if you use Brewer’s. Absolutely will not be working with this shop again.

Called and spoke with receptionist ~ I have a fuel line leak on a 2010 Chevy Cobalt ~ I can't drive it to them for a estimate to replace; its a steady leak and I am afraid of a stray cigarette. I just wanted a " ballpark" estimate to be emailed to me. I was told "nope, can't do that". Pity.

Took my box truck to get worked on very fast and great service. The staff was very friendly and upfront about all parts and pricing very pleased thanks agian.

Went there to have a rattling sound addressed. Not only did they fix the issue, but they also pointed out other safety issues that need to be addressed. Prices are comparable to other shops in the area, but their professional and knowledgeable is above and beyond. Will be going back for future work. Would highly recommend!!!

I had a rattle driver front. Had a 1pm appointment, but the car when in at 2. Waited 2&1/2 hours. Diagnosis was the strut was not previously greased and had to be replaced, and of course BOTH had to be done and the car alignment. $1700. Nope..... So I paid $89 for that info. Flat rate repair is not always a good thing. BUT the people working there are very nice.
