I’m so happy I decided to start Invisalign with Dr Glória Silva. She is gentle, knowledgeable and always takes the time to answer questions. Dr Glória Silva is amazing. I chose Invisalign because I wanted something invisible for work, and she guided me through the entire process with such care. My teeth were more than a cosmetic issue; they were a quiet source of shame that shaped how I lived my life. I kept my head down, avoided laughter, and tried to make myself small in moments that should have been joyful.The day I met Dr Glória Silva, something shifted. She didn’t rush me, didn’t dismiss my fears, didn’t treat me like just another patient on her list. She looked at me with genuine compassion, the kind that disarms you before you even realise it. When she told me that clear aligners could completely transform my smile, I wanted to believe her—but what moved me was that she believed it for me, long before I could.The treatment became more than orthodontics; it became a journey of reclaiming pieces of myself I had lost. Every aligner change felt symbolic—painful at times, yes, but also a reminder that real change often is. I would catch myself in the mirror and feel emotions I wasn’t prepared for. Some days I felt hope. Other days I felt grief for all the years I spent hiding.There was one moment, near the end of the treatment, when Dr Silva showed me the final simulation. I never imagined that something as simple as straightening my teeth could have such a profound impact on my life. When I first arrived at this clinic, I was carrying years of insecurity — the kind that quietly affects everything: how you smile, how you speak, how you present yourself to the world. I had spent so long hiding my teeth that it became second nature, almost a reflex. From my very first consultation, Dr Glória Silva shattered that pattern. She didn’t just look at my teeth; she looked at me. She sensed my hesitation, my embarrassment, and approached it with such empathy that I felt something inside me soften. She spoke with a calm confidence that made me believe this transformation was truly possible, maybe even inevitable. The journey with clear aligners became something deeply personal. Each new set felt like another step towards the version of myself I had forgotten I could be. There were moments when I felt emotional simply watching the changes in the mirror — tiny shifts that represented years of self-doubt slowly dissolving. I remember one appointment when Dr Silva showed me the progress scans… I actually teared up. It was the first time I saw my smile without immediately criticising it. Finishing the treatment felt overwhelming. I looked at my reflection and didn’t just see straighter teeth — I saw someone who finally looked free. Someone who smiles without thinking, someone who speaks without hiding, someone who feels genuinely proud. This clinic didn’t just give me a new smile. They gave me back a part of myself I thought I had lost forever. If you’re hesitating, if you’ve been hiding like I was — trust them. They will change far more than your teeth.
Not very happy with this practice. We had several appointments with them, and even though they canceled some appointments last minute and had us double booked on occasion. We still returned. They are friendly and the kids are comfortable.
We were supposed to have aligners and braces started, a quote was given before summer. I asked if we could start the treatment, upon which they told me to wait as the first months are crucial for change in teeth. Coming back after the summer, the same girl is not there anymore and they have no record of thar conversation and gave us a complete new price(much higher), and dont honor their original treatment plan.
I had my dental implants done at Colombo & Silva in Almancil, and everything was perfect from start to finish. The procedure was completely painless, and the results look natural. If you’re in the Vale do Lobo or Quinta do Lago area, this is the place to go!
