This review is for the case manager Brittany at Cofer Luster Law Firm. I originally hired this firm on July 22, 2025. Brittany came to visit me on December 10, 2025, at the Tarrant County jail where I am still currently. She and I spoke about the Evidence Summary Number 1 I received back on August 30, 2025. I asked her when I could expect to receive the Evidence Summary Number 2 and was told that she had already sent me a copy. My response to her was that I never received it. She then tells me, "that's great information, it must have gotten lost in the mail and will have it resent ASAP". May 5, 2026 I ask my mother to please follow up with Brittany to see what's going on. Finally, she gets ahold of her and Brittany says that Evidence Summary Number 2 should be getting to me soon and shortly after Evidence Summary Number 3. May 14, 2026, I receive a scheduling order showing that the deadline for all discovery and forensic testing is on June 18, 2026. It is now June 1, 2026, my mother decides to follow up again. Brittany answers, my mother asks her what's going on and that we have not received what she has been telling us now for almost 6 months. In short, she said that she would look into it again. There is no time waste and deadlines are happening this month! At this point, we don't believe anything she tells us. My mother and I do not appreciate being lied to. Especially while knowing that we signed a six figure $100,000 contract for your firm to help represent me. Pur yourself in our shoes as the clients. I think its fair to say that you would feel the same way. Your team told me that my family was searching for the best lawyers out there to hire which was why they came to see me. Out of all the different firms throughout the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex, we chose to trust and hire your team of experts. You have not done a good job of representing your firm throughout our time working together. You have made it extremely difficult for my mother and I to trust in you and Cofer Luster Law Firm during this difficult time. This has caused my mother and I to argue and wonder if we made a poor decision on who we chose to hire. Today is June 7, 2026 and we have pre trial on June 12, 2026. That is all for now.

These guys are amazing. They were court appointed and couldn’t have done a better job. They took three years and intense inpatient on possession of controlled substance charge and got us down to a state jail Felony no probation no nothing out of jail the same day. Our original lawyer was Pam bOGGESS (she was polite and professional but was not pushing like me cofur did) but the day of court, Mr. Cody COFUR showed up and showed them who was boss. He spoke with the DA and got everything reduced. This was obviously life-changing for us. We did take a state of Felony on the record, but we’re business owners so we can kind of do that. I know everyone’s gotten in that position However, if he can reduce it to that he could’ve reduced probation I believe if I had to hire a lawyer in the future I would not hesitate to hire them.
This law firm is the best in my opinion they were actually court appointed for a Tarrant county possession case and their team of lawyers took the punishment from three years probation and intensive inpatient care down to absolutely nothing as far as probation was concerned and we did take a felony on the record however we’re business owners so we weren’t too worried about that Just to give a little background to the situation. I would hire them in the future if I needed a lawyer.
