Unprofessional and unreliable service
Please avoid this company for roofing or gutter services. Their poor installation has left me with ongoing water leakage issues, causing endless stress and additional expenses. Despite raising these problems, they never resolved them and only offered excuses. They also failed to replace gutters covered by insurance and broke an expensive vent fan, replacing it with a lower-quality alternative. Their business practices are unprofessional and disappointing.
Awesome Job!
I had a great experience with C&N Construction. I had looked into repairing my roof before but had always had concerns with the companies that came around my neighborhood to inspect roofs for damage. I felt very comfortable and knowledgeable the entire time. The person I dealt with the entire time was Mike Laroche. From the very beginning he was able to make the entire process very easily understandable and kept me informed of every step along the way. The thing that really stood out is that he was available any time I had a question about anything and was able to answer quickly and thoroughly. The roof itself came out amazing. The crew was quick, clean and the end result definitely had me kicking myself for not doing it sooner. It's only been a few weeks since it was completed and I swear every time I pull in the drive way I'm happy to see how much cleaner and beautiful my house looks with the new roof. Overall wonderful experience, I would recommend that anyone thinking about having their roof inspected go with C&N and Mike for sure if he's available, you'll be in good hands.

C&N Construction was a pleasure to work with; very professional, polite, on-time and clean. I was nervous with such a major home project but was pleasantly surprised from day one. Our contractor (Mike) was knowledgeable, available and helpful throughout the entire process. As a woman I highly recommend this company.
Not a good company, only in for the money.
I couldn't agree more with Teddy!Beware of this company. My advice is do not, I repeat DO NOT sign any documents unless you are absolutely 110% sure they will do the work. Read the reviews including the filter ones before making decision. They advertise free inspection and turn around have you sign documents, if you do then you hook for 15% service fees if you choose not to go with them.
Money Hungry Company!
*Long post alert but worth the read*
C&N is more worried about money than their customers. rep first came to my house on July 29th after a storm passed by our neighborhood. By August 14th, insurance approved the claim but did not include our garage roof. C&N submitted a supplemental but Insurance company took a long time to approve (which which was frustrating to both them and myself), however, they had asked me for a down payment (which I learned my lesson not to ever give again), to start requesting permits, ordering materials and doing the main house roof, gutters and front light pole. Over 2 months passed and permits havent even been requested. After insurance company verbally approved the supplements (which was approx 75% additional from original estimate, again, money hungry) I contacted the rep to request permits because the weather was starting to hit below 40 degrees (the roofs can not be installed below that for warranty purposes and I have a 2 year old and 4 month old at home) They agreed to requesting permits and ordering materials on Thursday October 14. On Monday Oct 18, I contacted the rep early in the morning and asked if permits had been requested after not hearing from her for hours I contacted my village and asked about the permits which they said NO, C&N had not requested permits, later in the afternoon, rep finally answers me and lied to me that permits were requested already (I had told the village not to accept anything from them by that point). I requested the agreement to be cancelled and voided and to please return my deposit, which they said that I will not get any refund! I went in the following morning to speak to "the accountant" whom I had been dealing with regarding the finances and was told that the "other" accountant comes in later, I said I will call later to speak with her so that I could get a refund check. When I called later on and asked for "the accountant" i was told she was in a meeting, than I asked for the "other" accountant and the receptionist said that "the accountant" was the only accountant, there's no "other" accountant (i was lied to and disrespected to my face, one of the biggest slap on my face ever) after speaking to upper management, long story short, they said they agreed to give me back $500 of the $2,111 down payment however I will not be able to post anything online or the BBB. After thinking about it, I concluded that my freedom of speech was worth a lot more than $500 so thus the reason for this long post. Looking forward to what they'll respond to this comment, I will answer back to keep everyone updated. Thanks for reading my book!
P.S. I ended up hiring another contractor, signed the contract on a Thursday, permits were requested AND provided on Friday, roof material delivered on Saturday and roof and gutters installed on Tuesday and Wednesday (Sunday and Monday was raining).
We had our roof inspected and replaced with C&N Construction recently with the help of Antwain Steele. He was very patient with us during the process. He explained everything before installation. The roofers dropped off the materials a day before and did arrive earlier than expected the next day. The replacement did take all day.Highly recommend C&N construction Company.
C&N Hillsdale worked on my elderly father's roof. He lives in a really nice neighborhood in a beautiful house. However, after these guy butchered his roof, it looks horrific.
He sent me photos of the work which I will be posting here. There are gaps everywhere. Look at a roof the next time you pass by one. There should not be huge gaps. Water will get inside the house as well of insects. I am not exaggerating when I say that those gaps are big enough for rats and other animals to enter the house. In addition, this company did not put tar or silicone on the nails. This will allow water to enter the roof eventually. Please see the photos below.
Like many other complaints have mentioned, these guys cannot commit to a timeline, are unscrupulous, and unprofessional. They are now threatening to put a lien on his house for unfinished shoddy work if they do not receive payment for their shoddy work. In my opinion they should pay for a real roofing company to come fix the damage done to my father's roof.
It doesn't take an expert to see that this work is terrible. I have seen abandoned houses with better roofs on them. Do not use this company to do your roof. I am attaching photos to this complaint.
If anyone would like to reach out to me , let me know. Would really like to get these issues with my father's roof resolved.
We had our roof replaced with C&N Construction recently with the help of Leo. He was very patient with us during the process. He explained everything before installation. The roofers dropped off the materials a day before and did arrive earlier than expected the next day. The replacement did take all day but they seemed to do thorough work because the roof turned out nice with extra shingles to spare. Then Antonio came by a few days later to see if everything went well. Highly recommended company!
I came home and found this flyer on my door. It tells me everything I need to know about this company. Storm chasers!!! The flyer is made to look like it's personalized but it's clearly copied.
The flyer states that I have visible damage to my roof due to storm damage and they could get me approved for a full replacement. I know this can't be true because a week ago I was on my roof with my buddy who's an actual roofer. He told me my roof is good to go for at least five more years. He also told me if I did want to replace it there's no way I could get an insurance claim on it. This company's business tactics are disgusting
I had my roof replaced by C&N Construction. They did a great job and kudos to Billy who handled everything from the beginning to the end. He explained everything from the type of roof to the color, plus the warranties. The crew did a great job-they really cleaned up afterwards. I highly recommend to work with Billy at C&N Construction. The roof looks great and good quality.
When a company spokesperson comes to your home to evaluate your roof and you agree to submit a claim. Then you try to reach out to the person to provide a date and time and the company does not return your call, then I would not want to do business with that company. I could not trust a company if they cannot be professional enough to reach out to the prospective client.
I highly recommend C&N Construction, Billy Hethcoat and Tommy Spaulding helped me obtain a total new Roof replacement. I had tried with two other contractor companys with NO luck, they just made me waste my time and could not have my insurance replace my Roof that was in horrible shape due to hail and rainstorms. Tommy and Billy in a matter of one week had my problem resolved they submitted a claim and insurance paid for my total roof replacement, this guys are very knowledgable in what they do they saved me from All the headaches I had experienced in the past, I have now a New Roof that I love, thank you guys !!!
