They arrived as mentioned between 9-9:30am and 3 movers came to pack separate areas of the house. One person even designated to handle all fragile kitchen stuff. Finished at 12:45pm. One thing I would have liked to improve is packing stuff on top of my beds, without any plastic cover protecting it. The packer put boxes from the store room onto my bed to pack my Mac display which I found odd. Could have put the box on the floor or pack the display in the living room. But instead the very dirty/dusty box was put on the bed, resulting the bedsheet to be blackened. And after labeling which box to go, the wrong box was taken. Fortunately, I saw the wrong box taken while checking on them in between and rectified the situation. If not, the blame would have been pushed to me, even though I already clearly indicated which box.

Having utilised relocation agents a number of times in the past, had a good experience with the Classic Moving (Singapore) team for my relocation back to the UK. All my personal effects, including some sensitive electronic test equipment arrived safe and sound, without any issues or damage, although, I did request everything to be crated which they obliged etc. Packing team were also very professional, efficient and friendly on packing day. Communication from Dan and the team were generally professional, punctual and polite. The only minor “gripe” was having to chase Joanna for communication responses during the coordination stage, which unfortunately, did induce some anxiety. Overall though, would more than likely utilise Classic Moving again.

Terrible Experience with Classic Moving – Unprofessional and Unreliable I recently used Classic Moving for a relocation, and I can confidently say it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a moving company. Here’s why: 1. IKEA Furniture Issue:** One of the most frustrating parts of the experience was with Grace, who was assigned to handle my move. Classic Moving dismantled my IKEA furniture but failed to inform me that Grace does not assemble IKEA furniture. As a result, I was left to reassemble everything myself, which was incredibly time-consuming and stressful. 2. Bicycle Dismantling Issue:** To make matters worse, Classic Moving dismantled my bicycle without my consent and failed to reassemble it. When I asked Grace for help, I was told that she doesn’t do assembly work. I was left with a disassembled bike and no assistance, which was incredibly inconvenient and added to the overall frustration. 3. No Follow-Up After Arrival:** After my container arrived in Melbourne, Classic Moving completely dropped the ball. They didn’t follow up with me at all, and I had to constantly chase Grace for updates. This lack of communication and support added unnecessary stress to an already chaotic process. 4. No Accountability:** When I reached out to Classic Moving to address these issues, they didn’t resolve the mentioned situations. Dan just keeps quiet and no respond from him. Overall, I would not recommend Classic Moving to anyone. The lack of professionalism, poor service, and disregard for customer satisfaction made this a nightmare experience. Save yourself the trouble and choose a more reliable moving company.

Reliable service - punctual and professional, carefree moving process

Had a great experience with the Classic Moving (Singapore) team for my move to New Zealand! The whole process went smoothly, from in person survey, quotation to packing day, great coordination between the different persons of contact for every stage. Moving team came punctually and packed all my shipment items very quickly. They were friendly as well and transparent about the process and follow up actions, making it a very stress-free experience. Definitely would highly recommend them to entrust with your move, thank you again. :)

It was a pleasure engaging with Classic Moving, who was Pickford’s appointed Singapore agent, in facilitating my move from UK to Singapore. Special mention goes to Riamor, who helped with all my local arrangements and addressed my queries. This included guiding me in making the arrangements for additional storage of a few more months after my shipment arrived in Singapore, as I required more time with making my residential arrangements. Riamor was also easily contactable, prompt and friendly throughout the whole process. Delivery day was also a breeze, with a dedicated team of 4 movers bringing in all my belongings in expeditiously. The lead mover explained the process systematically, and was very friendly. All in all, a very good, 5-star experience from Classic Moving’s team.
