Cincinnati Pool and Patio installed my 18x36 inground pool three years ago, and I couldn’t be happier. As someone in construction management, I was impressed by the quality craftsmanship, pace of the project, and the use of top-notch materials—no shortcuts. The pool has brought my family so much joy, and CP&P continues to go above and beyond with outstanding post-install support, especially with water chemistry and any issues that arise. I have been seeing commercials for the Napoleon grills while watching golf for several years. I did some research about them, and really zero’d in on the Phantom. The only local dealer was here, so we saved and bought one. I CANNOT express enough about how great this thing is, and the good customer service we received from Chris while purchasing it. We have bought several accessories as well from them in the past month. You won’t be disappointed for the purchase or the company. Thanks again Chris.
Best customer service experience I've ever had. Brought in my Dolphin pool cleaner that wasn't working to see if it could be fixed. Turns out the motor was burned out, but instead of trying to sell me on a new model, he gave me information for a motor I could buy through Amazon that he would install. His honesty and direction easily saved me hundreds of dollars. I totally recommend working with him! Super nice and what was most important to me was the honesty.

I wanted to express how appreciative and pleased I was with the service provided by one of your technicians Matt. I'm from Dayton, Ohio, but travelled to Cincinnati to visit your store because you service Dolphin robotic vacuums. I brought my malfunctioning unit to your store and within 10 minutes Matt had diagnosed my issue and found a solution. Not only was he able to determine the issue, but he went out of his away to find a very cost effective solution. I will definitely make the trip down to Cincinnati in the future if/when I have issues with my pool equipment. It was an outstanding experience!

Here is the story of my experience at Cincinnati Pool & Patio (CPP) with their salesman "I'll call you tomorrow" Matt.
March 12 - Ordered pool and paid all the taxes/fees that day. Matt told me delivery should be in 2-4 weeks.
April 22 - Had not heard from CPP so my wife called and after being on hold for over 50 minutes, Matt said he was too busy and would call her the next day.
April 23 – No call from Matt.
April 24 - She called and Matt again said he was too busy and would call her the next day.
April 25 - No call from Matt.
April 26 - She called and talked with another salesman who said he would find Matt and call her back. He called back and told her Matt said he would call her that day or the next.
April 27 - No call from Matt. I called shortly before CPP closed and Matt didn't have any information for me. He said would call me the next day.
April 28 - No call from Matt, so I stopped at CPP 45 minutes before closing. Matt didn’t recognize me, but when I asked him about my pool he immediately printed out a copy of the March 12th receipt and said he was right on it. He said he had been trying to find a pool but was not having any luck. He brought another salesman who told me the real truth, then lied to me.
The Truth - They never ordered my pool. The manufacturer required them to purchase three pools, so they didn’t buy any. They also didn't inform me the pool was not ordered.
The Lie - I asked the other salesman why they didn't let me know, and he said they had been looking for a pool for me for since March 12, but just didn’t contact me about it. All I can say to him is "Liar, Liar, pants on fire". They may have started looking for a pool for me sometime between April 22 and 28, but before that they had just forgotten about me and my order.
I got my money back with no apology. Utter incompetence all around.

I cannot say enough good things about their entire staff. I would however like to give Major kudos to Matt. Matt goes above and beyond for this customer's. I called yesterday and spoke to him about a pool cleaner. He told me to bring it in and he would take a look at it and help me find the issue. Not only was he able to find the issue, he fixed our pool cleaner as well!. He was kind, funny, and you can tell he cares about customer service. Great company and we will definitely be back!!!!

I have had an inground pool for 35 years. This is the first year that I have used Cincinnati Pool and Patio for opening, closing, and maintenance (chemicals) during the season. This year is the first time that I have had perfect chemical balance and clarity of the water without an insane amount chemical additive purchases. Darrin Hicks provided great advice on how to maintain the proper levels of chemicals in the pool. Darrin is truly a professional and really knows his business when it comes to water chemistry. For opening and closing the pool, Davey and Daniel are hard to beat. They are very personable and did their job with the utmost of care. I had at least 5 anchors that could not be used for securely anchoring the pool cover straps. Without me even asking, they removed the problem anchors and replaced them with new ones. With past companies they simply ignored the problem. I highly recommend Cincinnati Pool and Patio. They can meet all your pool maintenance needs.

I had the worst service from this place. Lost my equipment after closing my pool, the employee tried extorting money from me by telling me my pump wasn't working properly & when I told him I had it completely overhauled the previous year & asked what was wrong with it, he said oh never mind it was nothing I got it going? after he left nothing seemed to be working. I'm so glad I took video of everything. I hired another guy to come out & he said they never took out the plugs & the pump/main drain was in the incorrect position. I tried to give them a chance to make it right & was very nice until DARREN the manager called me a liar to my face. Only do business with this guy if you want to pay twice as I had to. He also knew last year I was a new pool owner & sold me a bunch of equipment & I went in there repeatedly so frustrated saying nothing seems to fit or work & he finally says yeah I know your pool (they use to service it for previous owner) & we don't sell aqua genie equipment? Well thanks a bunch Darren, so nice of you to eventually tell the truth for once. If you go in there deal with someone other than him, trust me, or you too will be lawyering up & contacting the BBB & disputing all your credit card charges too!!!! Go to Sunspot or Watsons, or you'll be sorry!!!

Been a customer for 17 years after having them install my pool. Just recently had two service guys out to replace the lateral in my sand filter. These guys were outstanding, I always learn more about my pool each time they come out for open/closing. They are always glad to answer my questions so I understand what they are doing. They replaced a part in my pump motor after seeing there was an issue. Thanks to Darrin the service manager for assisting me when I have a problem. Thanks !
