Service was really really backdated. Service colleagues were busy with particular clients and ignoring us. Lots of gossiping and arguments were going around amongst colleagues. Lamb seems was really flat. No taste at all though we asked Service colleague to make it hot. Paratha was half burnt. I think this restaurant serve particular group of clients who can eat just any Indian food.

The food was nice, however for a Saturday evening, the service and what was available was extremely disappointing. There was only one waiter between several tables including a large kid's party. we were stood waiting to be sat for a while, which was fine. instead of telling us before we were seated that their kitchen was backed up and busy, the waiter told us as he handed us the menus (5 mins after we were sat at the table). Not only that, we were told there was no rice "on the house", which we assumed meant no free rice- no, there was no rice available AT ALL. On a Saturday night. At an Indian restaurant. Very disappointing and was ready to walk out at that point. As we were going to order, we were told not to order starters because of how backed up the kitchen was. This left us flustered as we did intend to order starters, but we were not told prior to making a decision so we had to wing it while ordering. The waiter also forgot to take our drinks orders and we had to catch him before leaving our table to get drinks. In all honesty, the waiter wasn't very nice. Quite standoffish and rude to us. I don't know if that's because we weren't their usual clientele or that he was stressed because of understaffing, but I would have loved a different waiter had one been available. The food was nice- portions were a bit small for the price (£18 for a chicken curry with maybe 5-6 slides of chicken breast in there, but bread or rice (if it was available) is included). As I was leaving, I did notice other tables had rice with their curries, so I don't know if maybe their had gotten some delivered while we were sat down, or if the waiter didn't want us ordering rice to save time. It seems they were more busy completing takeaway orders/Deliveroo and UberEats while being severely understaffed. Unfortunately wont come back to sit in. Might order a takeaway, but there are better Indian takeaways for much cheaper in Barnet.

We were so excited to try this place but unfortunately were terribly disappointed. I had called up beforehand and was reassured that the specific set menus were available. We turn up to find that this was not the case and the set menus were very much restricted by half! We asked for our starters and mains to be served at the same time - they were not. They forgot to make the above mentioned set menu dishes so when they were reminded and it finally came, it was nearing the end of our meal. The icing on the cake....the butter chicken dish that was part of the meal had 2 and a half pieces of chicken! After speaking to the owner, there was no apology for the delay and the reason given behind the small portion was that it is part of a bigger set meal? When we asked for it to be taken off our order as by now... 1.we ended up sharing out the dishes we did get and had finished our meal 2. It just was not worth the price To this, the owner said she would take it off the order and proceeded to take the dishes back to the kitchen. No offer to give it on the house seeing as they made a person wait so long for their meal. Time to pay - Did they take the dishes off our order? Nope, it was still on there Such a horrible experience.

Good location. Good ambience. Chicken wings were burnt as seen in the picture. Tea was served with no sugar. Had to request for sugar.Paratha were suppose to be served with stuffed potato filling however they weren't. Though it was replaced later after request.Excuse given was the chef is new.Pathetic service. I should have refused to pay the service charge but I still paid.Restaurant was not busy when I walked in with just one table occupied however the person at the counter checked with me if I had reserved a table. Didn't offer a table we wanted saying it was reserved and was not reserved anyways.

OMG, the flavours. Started with meat samosa and punjab samosa, both perfect. I had lamb chops and my partner chicken tika, both were excellent, accompanied by keema nann gunpowder potatoes and rice, even the rice was on another level. Spoke to the owner, who was absolutely charming. Lovely staff as well. Only downside was the price which was £90, service charge included, which is high, but well worth it. Paul

Came here for a weekday dinner. Considering we were the only ones in the restaurant, service was slow. The starter took at least 20mins to arrive. The mains are a much better value for quality than the starters. The aloo tikki chaat was like £9 and tiny. Naan was good and fresh and the chicken kathi roll was a very generous sized portion.
