Mass Production = Massively Compromised
First tried Cheddies in 2021 and they were AWESOME. Cheese was the first ingredient, and they nutrition favored protein over carbs. The Pergola brothers who founded this brand in 2015 started out making a snack food safe for dialysis patients and eventually rebranded to Cheddies but kept the cheese-first ingredient recipe. The brand was still small at this point. They have one 2024 interview on CommercialBaking.com stating the difficulty of mass producing the recipe for a national brand. The article is deceptive bc it reads like they only ever sold the new flour-dominant version, but that’s not true. They changed the recipe, completely compromising everything that made this product good, better than the rest. The new version is just bad. Besides being bland, it’s about as close to the original as a rice cracker. The brand used to shy away from using cheese powders to flavor their crackers, and now that’s the only flavor Cheddies has that doesn’t taste like stale, bland, over-milled flour. I really tried to support this brand and hope for a return to the quality that made me buy-in originally, but I’m just left with a bad taste in my mouth every time. Time to start experimenting in the kitchen.
Who cares if a few are broken? THESE ARE GOOD CRACKERS.
The flavor is delicious! They taste like real cheese. What more can I say. At first I thought, "they're pretty expensive. I'll buy a box of Cheez-its and see if Cheez-its aren't just as good." The two crackers are not even comparable. After eating Cheddies, Cheez-its don't even have much taste, and certainly do not taste like cheese. I shall continue to enjoy Cheddies, and put the Cheez-its outside for the crows to enjoy. The lesson here? We get what we pay for.

Delicious, if you receive the right flavor.
These are delicious crackers! The Classic Cheddar taste and texture are perfect. They are tasty and authentic with no fake-cheese taste.…However I would only order them if you also like the Spicy Cheddar. Out of the 4 times I’ve ordered the Classic Cheddar, I’ve only received the right flavor once.
Crunchy and Delicious!
These crackers are a new obsession. I have been trying to add protein to my mostly plant based diet for a while now, and these make it easier. I love any kind of cracker, sort of a weakness of mine. Well, these are delicious. They have a great crunch and are very satisfying. I only wish there were more in the box!

Tasty, but pricey
I love these so much! I first tasted them when I received them on a flight and searched high and low to find them. This is the only place I could find them, and they are just as tasty as the original bite. The price, however, makes them a once-in-a-while purchase, as it's hard to justify their cost for crackers.

One of the boxes is empty
The crackers are good, but a bit pricey! The reason I’m writing this review is due to customer support. Of the 6 boxes, 1 box is empty. It is still sealed, but I know there is nothing inside. I tried to contact Amazon. Since this is not a returnable item, I ended up going around and around. The site wouldn’t let me do a chat. I went to the Cheedies site and kept getting an error message when trying to submit an email. From looking at the comments on their Facebook, it sounds like this is typical. I did send a DM through messenger on Monday. No response at this point. Ugh!!!

Just ok
I ordered these crackers after trying a box I bought at the grocery store. I received them in an unmarked box.The bags are very small (they hold about 100 calories). They are made with organic cheese, which is great, but states wheat flour, I'm assuming it's bleached because it doesn't indicate it's not. Doesn't state that they are GMO free either. Won't purchase again. Just not worth the money.
Listing is deceiving
The listing indicates that the classic sea salt is now classic cheddar. However the flavor you select is called classic sea salt and the image with the ingredient listing and nutrition facts is for classic sea salt however I received classic cheddar flavor. It is not the same as the classic sea salt. They don't even have the same ingredients or nutrition facts. I was hoping to get the classic sea salt as that flavor is far superior to the classic cheddar but that's not what I received, the listing is very deceiving. I wish you would go back to having the classic sea salt, I was really disappointed in that taste of the classic cheddar.
Wrong item sent over and over
I am addicted to the original cheddies. I buy them in 6-packs because I love them so much. They are expensive, but I love that they have protein and are GMO free, so I buy them over and over again. The problem is, on 3 different occasions, I have ordered original cheddies and received a variety box. I am not a fan of spicy, and white cheddar isn't my favorite. So there I am, getting a couple of boxes of the flavor that I like for the price of 6.Is it really that difficult for the appropriate flavor to be sent? It's not worth it for me to continue buying these at this rate. It's understandable if it happens once, but 3 times?Edit: they have promptly offered a full refund. Hopefully, they will be more careful with shipments in the future because these are really good!
New look. New taste.
Not just a packaging change. The crackers are thinner now and not as toasted as the previous boxes I've purchased. Not to mention I received six boxes of pieces and crumbs. Super disappointing after being hooked on these crackers for the last 4 months. I was hoping it was just a quality control issue, but I ordered six boxes and all six boxes are in the new packaging and noticeably different from the crackers in the old packaging. Try to buy the rest of the old version while you still can because the new ones are definitely not the same.
