I deeply regret hiring Laughlin as my immigration lawyer. Over the course of 5 years, he demonstrated a lack of competence and professionalism. He submitted applications with weak arguments and insufficient evidence, despite claiming they were strong. When it came time to defend those points, he was unprepared and ineffective. Unfortunately, his mishandling of my case not only cost me time, money, and energy but also led to a devastating outcome for my family. The immigration officer’s (CL 28608) decision, influenced by what seemed like racial bias, shattered the lives of 5 family members. However, it was Laughlin who set us up for failure by not doing his job thoroughly and fighting for us when it mattered most. I would not recommend his services to anyone. Immigration cases require dedication, expertise, and a lawyer who truly advocates for their clients qualities that Laughlin clearly lacks.
