If you are a PMHNP, DO NOT work here Every week they seem to add more and more work and no pay increase. You are expected to see patients every 15 minutes which equals to 128 patients a week. It is absolutely ridiculous. They do not care about their employees or their clients. They must only care about money. I feel bad for the patients and people that continue to work here. Pros: There are no pros. Cons: All cons.

Cerebral Is a great place to work if you are a therapist associate starting out. The pay is pretty decent and I felt supported by staff. I love that. It was completely remote.

Awesome place to work until it wasn’t The first 6 mos was great - the training was well done but on the job experience was most helpful. My first supervisor was awesome and the hours and pay were great! However, the company started declining and laying everyone off until they got rid of my position all together. The one complaint I have is that they were horrible in how they treated people being laid off! Management (including CEO) continued to lie to everyone and denied the layoffs and gave no advanced notice, leaving many without jobs lined up. The company became all about money under the new CEO and became the laughing stock of the telemed world! So sad! It was the best job ever til it wasn’t! Pros: Flexible schedule, training, resources Cons: Management had no integrity and lied to and mistreated employees at the end

Better in the beginning, went slightly downhill but very helful toward gaining licensure I've worked here for almost three years, overall management is very supportive. When I started there were educational courses available that were helpful and there was more sense of community, however over time the company has been stripped down. It's still helpful toward gaining licensure however, it's not as helpful with professional development. Pay is okay, PTO has been great if can work 30+ consistently for 90 days to become benefits eligible. Overall, not too bad of an experience.

Productive Place for associates Good place for an associate to start accumulating hours, if you are not expecting much from a working environment. Things change quickly and layoff people frequently.

great company with lots of freedom What is the best part of working at the company? The freedom and independence is the best part. I am assigned clients and am responsible for weekly sessions to schedule, have, and document on my own. I love that. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The company has constant changes and you need to be able to keep up with them on your own, you dont really get much support. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?I like the culture, it is mostly independent but there is definitely a community. What is a typical day like for you at the company?Have your own sessions, document

Not terrible, not amazing I love the flexibility and independence, but caseload is WAY too high. They care way too much about volume and way too little about quality. They need to have longer appointments with lower volume for better quality. Lot of people complain about the instability, but I personally have not experienced it.

Awful A typical work day consisted of misunderstandings, cluelessness and headaches. At my time at Cerebral all that I had learned was how to hold my breath until the next lay off happened with the high layoff reputation they have managed to carry for themselves. Management is a joke! Some Directors micro manage amongst other shady and spiteful things. There are some in management that have no clue what they are doing. I had not one enjoyable moment to mark while working at Cerebral. Pros: None Cons: Everything

Flexibility but no stability Flexible work environment, remote and flexible hours, laid back coworkers and the pay was good, but there were many layoffs and no sense of job stability.

Contingent for John Deere Cerebral hired me to work as a contingent for John Deere. I’ve been told Cerebral is one of the few contingent companies that offers PTO and benefits. Benefits are pretty decent, PTO is 40 hours a year so nothing crazy but at least it’s something. HR is extremely nice and accommodating and so is my recruiter. As for the job I work with other contingents and John Deere employees. It’s an incredibly nice environment and job is fairly easy. Lots of training and everyone on the team is always available for questions.

Untruthful Have to have a lot of hours of availability and short-notice clients, but a lot of empty time. Good to learn online services and systems. Bottom line...this is a business. Lots of mouth service to employee mental health and integrity...little shown.

Flexible but they do not care about results Flexible but they do not care about clinical outcomes. They offer care and medication without really exploring individuals situations which felt very unethical.

Unethical failing company This company works to exploit providers (both NPs and therapist) expecting them to work for low pay, offers no benefits, and no incentives for work. The tech part of the company and higher management have no understanding of therapy or client needs. They keep pushing out weird products that clients don’t want. There is zero transparency and no management can be trusted. Constant changes that fail, a constantly not working EMR, no support from staff or higher up management. This business is clearly failing. Run don’t walk! Pros: It’s remote work Cons: No benefits, no support, exploits contractors

Contact Contract position. You get out of it what you put into it. Love the patients. Management could be more communicative. Pros: paid every two weeks, make your own schedule

Started off well and went down hill I first started working at Cerebral when it was gaining popularity and my schedule of clients immediately took off. As a contractor employee, I was required to have at least 20 hours a week open, and being licensed in 2 states, helped me quickly build alarge client base. After the company was investigated for it's controlled substances prescribing, things quickly took a turn for the worse. Many established clients decided to end their subscription with Cerebral resulting in a much lower client base. They then began to prioritize giving clients to their full-time/W2 staff which I understand but still expected contractors to maintain 20 hours/week of availability despite having little to no patients. That was what prompted my decision to leave the company. It was unreasonable to expect me to leave my schedule open with no one scheduling appointments with me due to their severe limiting of clients. You are only paid by completed visits or a late cancellation/missed visit so keeping your schedule open 20 hours to not be paid when no one schedules sucked. It was fun while it lasted. Pros: flexible scheduling Cons: mandated schedule requirements despite lack of clients assigned
