I was looking for a dentist in the area after having gone to a dentist in Bloomington for years. I went to Center Grove, did all the X-rays and evaluation and they told me I have a cavity, gum disease, bone loss, receding gums, and need about $700 of work including a deep cleaning and it will all take three more appointments. I told them I couldn’t afford all that right now and asked for just a cleaning and filling. They refused. Either spend the $700 or they wouldn’t see me again.
I think first it is very strange that I suddenly have all these problems I never had before even though I went to the dentist religiously, and I think it is really strange that they would prefer for me to just not get my teeth cleaned and not help me with my cavity (I’m suspicious whether I even have one now) just because I can’t afford their expensive (and possibly unnecessary) “deep cleaning” right now.
They clearly have the almighty dollar prioritized over my dental health.
They have been so helpful in making sure insurance would help cover my dental needs, and they were able to get me in same day for service needed. I am so thankful for their service.

After having a horrible experience elsewhere with my then 3 year old son, we have really grown to all love Center Grove Family Dentistry. Now my 2 kiddos, my husband and myself go here and always have a good visit. Makes me happy that my kids love going to the dentist!

Always a great atmosphere! The front desk always greets me with a smile and makes me feel comfortable. The hygienists and dentist are gentle and thorough. 10/10 recommend!

TL;DR Everyone is a delight to talk to and you can tell they truly care about their patients which is something that has become increasingly rare.
I was pretty nervous going to the dentist, I've had some not so great experiences in the past and I knew I had a few cavities. Dr. Stevens and her staff put me at ease almost immediately. They were very non judgmental about the fact I hadn't been to a dentist in many years. Every staff member was incredibly kind and patient, they explained what needed to be done, what they recommended doing, they listened and answering all my questions. I never felt rushed, dismissed, or pressured at any point during my appointments. I really can't recommend this office enough.
