Wonderful service for both me and Midnight. I hadn't been to the vets before and Mark answered all my silly questions.
Put down a rescued animal due to costs. If they had contacted me I’d have paid the costs myself.
Registered with these vets so that our 6mth old Bichon Frise could be neuted, an appointment was made for Friday, but my wife was very anxious as he is very nervous and gets very upset if my wife leaves him even only for a very short time, all she wanted to know was, would it be possible for her to stay with him whilst he is in their care, the young receptionist had a debate with my wife as to the procedures within the practice but she would out if he could have a tablet tomorrow night and one on Friday morning, but then we got a phone call to say they couldn't accept us and our little boys operation had been cancelled telling us we had been rude and shouting at their staff, I CAN ASSURE EVERYONE LOOKING AT THIS REVIEW WE DID NOTHING OF THE SORT, I ASKED DIRECT QUESTIONS THE DAY BEFORE AND MY DID THE SAME TODAY, I think this is a total disgrace, making out that we are rude and aggressive people we are not, after everything that's happened to us over the last 10yrs with vets thrusting card machines in your face, demanding £500 before they even look at your very ill dog, so please forgive us if we are very sceptical, the same vets also charged us for things we didn't know anything about ending up with a bill of £4500 and our poor little boy still died, so we don't know what would happen here at Castle vets, are they the same as all the other rip off vets, we just didn't know, SO NO, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS VETS TO ANYONE WITH A SMALL DOMESTIC ANIMAL, IF YOU HAVE CONCERNS ABOUT VETS THEN IS ONE TO AVOILD.
Very good vets. Polite staff. Knowledgeable staff. Older experienced vets as well as young new ones. Not as expensive as some.
Just had a lovely experience with these vets who vaccinated both my cats and gave them a health check. The vet and nurse were so kind and caring towards my cats that it really calmed them down when they were initially scared. They answered all my questions and were very helpful. Thank you!
Very good service. Would have given 5* if the advertised pricing is compliant with the recommended categories published in government’s competition review.

Was not happy with the way they treated my Harv, keep pushing for treatments that are not necessary
Was asked to leave, so have done and was going to anyway. Some of the vets are good some not very good at all
Saw my cat last minute for some urgent assistance via emergency care ! Can’t fault any part of the service - very efficient, knowledgeable and caring. Thank you so much for helping Odin ❤️
Apart from animal charities, it must be one of the hardest jobs in the world watching real animal lovers lose their family or having to give awful news, so hats off to all of you. Ive been here for the cats injections and the horrible times, and going through a horrible time right now, but I know puss is in great hands, the only reason I haven't given a 5 star is because sometimes I find the place a little cold of emotion, but then.. I get that... I guess its hard to say everything will ok sometimes when both parties know it won't be.
