I decided to try acupuncture treatment after my first round of ivf failed. While doing acupuncture with Dr. Vivian I started to see a big improvement on my second round of IVF. I am currently on my second trimester and I feel Dr. Vivian was a big help for fantastic results on my second try. I cannot recommend her enough.

Vivian is wonderful! She was caring and patient. It is easy to tell she has a lot of experience. Knows her process inside and out. She truly cares about your needs and will do anything to help you achieve your goal. Please go see her if you need to, you will not regret it. Thank you Vivian!

Dr Vivian is fantastic. I’ve been seeing her for over three months and she’s helped me improve my stomach pain and gastritis. She also helps improve eating habits and lifestyle in general with her recommendations. She is nice and professional, her practice is clean, also easy around scheduling. I recommend visiting her.

Vivian was super helpful in my ivf journey, I did a retrieval with unexpected results. So we did a second round and did acupuncture that round, which helped to get better results. And on our first FET I got pregnant, I am 10 weeks today with our little miracle! Cannot recommend her enough!

I highly recommend Dr. Shou-Litman. I began seeing her for acupuncture around 34 weeks into my pregnancy to help with relaxation and various pregnancy discomforts (eg restless legs, congestion). Using a reclining chair, I was able to comfortably unwind each week. At 37 weeks she began assisting with preparation for labor and delivery, with the goal to go into labor naturally before my due date. Goal achieved! Thank you Dr. Shou-Litman!

At the age of 40, 18 months after our first child was born, my husband and I decided to continue growing our family. To our surprise, we got pregnant right away, but it turned out to be an ectopic pregnancy. I went to see two fertility doctors for evaluation and was told by both that my egg reserve was very low and my egg quality was very poor. In addition, my tubes were swollen and full of liquid, which was creating a toxic environment. I was recommended surgery to remove one of my tubes. After more tests, both doctors recommended me using an egg donor. I took some time to digest the very difficult news and try to figure out what I really wanted. In the meantime, I missed two consecutive periods. I have always been a big believer in natural medicine, so I decided to do some research on acupuncture treatment for fertility. I came across Dr. Vivian, and as I was reading her reviews, I felt hope and motivation to go see her. From the very first consultation, she was so kind and eager to help us to get to the root cause of what was going on. She first recommended that I completely change my diet and added acupuncture treatment focused on reducing inflammation and improving egg quality. At the same time, she referred me to a new fertility doctor to check hormone levels to find out the reason for missed periods. My hormone test results were devastating, my FSH was 85, at a level of perimenopause, my ovaries were shut down and not working. I shared the results with Dr. Vivian, and she was very concerned but willing to help me improve my condition at all possibilities. So I started my acupuncture journey with Dr. Vivian, who was always so patient with me and very informative about each step of the process. No matter how many messages I sent to her, she was always quick to respond. After a few sessions, new lifestyle, supplements and following Dr. Vivian's directions diligently, I started getting my period every two months. And then, all of a sudden, I had two consecutiv e period cycles! After 5 months seeing Dr.Vivian, I was so excited about the progress that I decided to repeat my hormone test. To my fertility doctor's and my surprise, I had improved so much that she told me to continue with everything that I had been doing. I went from having 1-2 eggs to 5-6 eggs.!! A month later, we received the amazing news that we were pregnant again (Naturally!) Everything looks really good and I don't even need progesterone supplement, as would normally to be prescribed for my age. I will forever be grateful to Dr. Vivian for all her help, guidance, and motivation, for not giving up on me. I believe she was godsend. It's a miracle!! Maria Molina

I started going to Dr. Vivian during my 2nd pregnancy to help with anxiety and I was referred by my doctor. I had an easier pregnancy and delivery in comparison to my first. Dr. Vivian is very knowledgeable and she helped me get rid of aches and pains. Acupuncture also helped tremendously with my anxiety. As I am now postpartum, I will continue to go to Dr. Vivian.

Dr. Vivian has been a tremendous help to me. She is very knowledgable and skilled in Chinese medicine and herbs. I appreciate that she is focused on her area of specialty and can explain the root cause of specific physical symptoms though the lens of Chinese medicine. She has followed up after appointments to make sure the treatment is addressing the original issue appropriately and has squeezed me in for same day/next day appointments even though her schedule is always booked. If you are looking for caring and truly skilled TCM practitioner I very much recommend Dr. Vivian!

i am so happy i started coming here! Dr Shou has helped me so much with the nausea in my pregnancy. before coming here i would almost be on bed rest and at one point i was close to being dehydrated … but since the few sessions i’ve done with her, i feel so much better and i can lead a normal life again. i’m in such better health! she is so patient and genuinely cares about helping you. i love that she takes her time to find a solution! my only regret is not knowing her for my first pregnancy. thankful for you Dr Shou!

Dr. Shou is literally an angel on earth. I have been seeing her for years now throughout different phases of my life and she has always been a saving grace. If you are pregnant, I highly recommend you to see her for assistance with your delivery. She treated me during both pregnancies and while both pregnancies were wildly different, both deliveries were amazing and I have no doubt it was due to her hands!

Dr. Vivian is incredible at what she does. I had chronic, debilitating pain from Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and Dr. Vivian has almost completely eliminated my pain in just a few sessions. She is extremely compassionate, kind, and it is easy to tell she is invested in her patient’s wellbeing. I could not recommend her more!

I highly recommend Dr. Vivian. She helped with my pregnancy, especially towards the end by getting the baby, who was breech, to turn, using Accupuncture. I was able to avoid an ECV and had the baby naturally. Dr. Vivian is very knowledgeable and kind.
