AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE!!
I have a GE dryer that wouldn’t shut off when the timer hit 0. Tech came out, diagnosed and replaced the timer unit the following day. He never stayed long enough to turn the dryer on, set the timer for a few minutes to see if it would shut off. The renter called me the next day to say it still won’t turn off when the timer hit 0. She has to open the door to stop it.
Then the tech was to be back the following day between 3-5p. No show! No phone call saying he was running late! Set a new appointment for this past Monday. Same Tech shows up and since there was a huge language barrier he didn’t understand what the renter was saying and visa-versa. Tech goes outside to the lint screen and said he cleaned it and that “should help” JOKE!
The lint screen was already clean.
Tech grabs his tools and leaves. Renter calls me shortly after he left to say it’s still not shutting off.
Called the company this morning, frustrated and already out $279 + the $79 service fee and explained that the problem still exists and I want a refund. The lady at the company called me back, said she talked to the tech and he said he replaced the timer unit a second time and the dryer was heating just fine. This wasn’t the issue to begin with!
Renter said he didn’t replace anything. Just went outside and said he cleaned the vent cover.
Huge language barrier!
Please save your money, patience and time AND DO NOT USE THEM!
I’m calling a different company to come out.
They sent a guy Angel to my house who speaks zero english. It's not that he has trouble speaking English. He cannot speak English at all. He had to call someone to translate and she translated it incorrectly so I had no idea what was wrong with my washing machine or what needed to be done to fix it. And they still charged me $70. But when I called in they gave me a refund or they say they did we'll just have to see if it happened. I don't understand how they can think that someone that does not speak English at all would be okay to send to a house with non-spanish speaking people. They acted like it was totally normal. So I have another company coming over to look at my washing machine today.
AVOID AVOID AVOID. Called on a Friday and tech was out the same day. Told the washer pump was broken and that he didn't have the part on him. Would return the next day. No call and no show. Called Monday and they put me on the schedule between 4pm and 6pm. At 6:45pm received a call that they would not make the window and would be there around 8pm. I let them know that 8pm was too late as my kids are asleep by then,. Tech then texted a picture of his GPS showing him to be south of 465 south when we live on the border of Carmel and Westfield. He was no where close and had no way of making the time. "Tech" showed up at 7:35pm. It was a 2 door car without a logo. No branded attire. Offended when I provided him shoe covers to not track water (it was wet outside) into my house that we are currently showing to sell. We quite loud when doing the repair. Did not apologize for missing the appointment 2 days prior or for showing up after his appointment and no offer of a discount.
Terrible service. AVOID AVOID AVOID
Refrigerator ice maker. Tech couldn't get the ice maker unit out due to ice. Plan to come back next day. Didn't show. Text me 3 days later if can come Monday morning. I texted "after 11a would work". Never showed. Someone named Ceasar called about 2p asked if I got microwave fixed? Told him " It's a ice maker in refrigerator". "Told him his man was suppose to be here at 11a." He said" OH." I'll call you back in a minute". Never got a call!
The technician was very unprofessional, he came to check our freezer without any tools for couple minutes and concluded compressor failure. When I asked for Freon only, he excused for valve purchase and disappeared whole day. I called the customer service, but they couldn't control because they were sub contractors.
The technician couldn't speak english well. He drove a 4Runner without business logo, which looked like a private/unlicensed contractor.
The booking is fast, but the business really doesn't worth penny you spend. I guess that no one wanna throw money into water, right?
My experience was a complete disaster. I was told the washer needed a new belt kit. It was ordered and I was promised that they would return in 2 days to repair the washer. They did come when promised and I had to call and find out why. They installed the new belt kit, but the washer's spin cycle still did not work properly. I called back to report the problem and they seemed to have no sense of urgency to fix the problem. Eventually, the service technician called a couple of days later to ask about the washer. I was forced to call another repair service. They came promptly when promised. After a few minutes they told me the transmission needed to be replaced. The cost of the repair exceeded the cost of a new washer. My choice was obvious. Carmel Appliance Repair charged a total of $345 for a service they did not deliver. I will never call them again. Buyer beware!
