If I could provide a negative star I would. This firm doesn't care about your case. They are money hungry. Should have known by the huge mosaic they have for Trump in their waiting area. My case began in Nov 2019. I first met with a Pamela, but she was not available to represent me. I was passed to Deandra Arena. I asked for an update after zero communication and had some questions, then was told was not a good fit and pushed over to John Carbone. I believe between being passed between lawyers important information was not relayed and they did not do their due diligence in fighting for my case and I had to constantly be asking for updates. Also with any correspondence of asking updates they will charge you for simply reading an email. I have a large debt due to illegitimate charges and when asked about said charges they stopped responding. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. They'll leave you worse off than you began.
*Update since leaving review: one of the higher ups emailed me to check availability to address concerns. After my response I've not received anything in 2 weeks
03/30 update: Nik Boca an attorney from firm responded, on behalf of DCantor. I was offered 3k of previously paid fees in return for removing any negative feedback. When not accepted they also extended a courtesy of working with my current representation in my case. However when consulted on a matter i once again was told they'd do so only once the negative post was removed.
This firm also mentions they're experienced in DV cases which was my deciding factor to go with them. Per my experience, this is not the case and they weren't very willing to pursue that subject in the matter along in court and advocate for me. I’ve learned more thru google than anything the law firm ever assisted with.*
My lawyer chose not to submit vital evidence, some of which points out abuse to me and a child, he never cross examined my ex, the lying cps lady, and never gave a guy wrenching closing argument. There was no evidence for my ex getting emergency sole custody and he never brought that up. There's so much that he failed to do. 16 years and my ex never married me so I'm not getting any alimony or shared assets and the lest I wanted was my stuff back, which never happened! We had the same judge from the first time around and my lawyer told me he was bffs with my ex's lawyer but never requested a different judge.
An absolute failure on everybody's part in this law firm and highly DO NOT recommend!!!
This firm is the best! My attorney, Andrea Banks, and her team handled my custody case proficiently, with care and dedication. I finally have 50/50 joint legal custody of my children!! You won't be assigned a lawyer here, just a scam artist with a degree (allegedly). Alot of money for zero representation. Chatgtp is seriously a better lawyer than the one I got here. Their mission statement is apparently not taken seriously and I know 2 lawyers here who are currently being reported to the ethics board so RUN.

These professionals are who you want on your side. I had the chance to retain Caleb McKay for my family law case in 2024. Family law cases are touchy and involve lots of emotions which make it hard for you to make logical decisions and stand up for yourself in these sticky situations. I needed guidance and support in my case, knowing someone had my back. Caleb did that for me. I had spoke with a few different individuals from the firm and they were all understanding, compassionate, realistic, and supportive as well. I loved how on top of things they were too. Caleb always provided me with updates, let me know what he filed for me right after it was completed, and kept me informed of anything on his end every step of the way. At the end of the case, it worked out for me and I believe it was because of Caleb. In the past I did retain other lawyers for this family case, but none handled or helped me as well as Caleb McKay and Cantor law group. If I ever run into any issues again, they will be the ones I call.
If money is not an object for you then they might be the right attorneys for you. I was very disappointed with the result of their supposed service costing over $3000. I started being skeptical when they ghosted me and just directed contact to my spouse specifically. Additionally, when they finally drafted a PRT, every single name, address or fact about me or my family had inaccuracies. Frankly, it looked like a first year paralegal found a template and just paste what they remembered from memory for our first draft. Of course, we never met the attorney assigned to our case and it seemed as though they didn't have time for us. With one draft sent to my wife after almost 3 weeks of requesting for it we decided to discontinue service with them just to get overcharged for nothing done for our kids adoption. I hope I could say they are a scam, but that's not fair since I've only been involved with 2 of their attorneys. I hope the rest of their law group is better at their jobs then the two that I briefly interacted with.

99% of the time, when you need a lawyer, things are not great. When I was separating from the USAF in 2022 and I had to take a job in another state, CLG took on my case with precision and ferocity (when another firm dropped the ball). The details of my attempt to relocate my child were not complex, but dealing with the opposing side was. If you're in a situation where opposition may fight dirty... Cantor Law Group is prepared.
Rebekah Burz' attention to detail and strong foundational knowledge of family law often disarmed the lies that were targeted at my character - as that was a majority of the case formed against me. But, it was more than attention to detail. Michaela was quick and concise with all the administrative work - a true professional in clerical work for the team that represented me (deserves much credit). When I was feeling unsure, or even when there was evidence that didn't bode well, when I was faced with what felt like a mountain of impossibility, Rebekah and Michaela were unrelenting in reassuring me how things could go. If you're the type of person that can handle being told the truth, and you need representation, you must consider this team. I found it to be far more valuable to have a team that would tend to my anecdotal concerns by responding with data than to be told everything I wanted to hear. It made me trust the teams strategy - which I got to be part of devising instead of just sitting back. Trusting the strategy paid off.
Rebekah was patient and prepared me on more than one occasion for conferences and court appearances. In as much as it was able to be controlled, I won in the areas that mattered.
Cost
While cost is almost always a concern for a client, I asked myself in the end of all I went through, "Was this worth it?" The answer is yes. The monetary value is its own thing. I would challenge any reader going through a tough family event, "Can you afford to not pay for a great team?" What are you willing to lose based on a dollar amount? Be honest with yourself. What is reasonable to each person is just that - but I found the overall experience and monetary cost to be worth it.
If you want to be heard, if you want to know your documents are handled accordingly, if you want to work with a team that will partner you in on the strategy of your case, consider this team. Consider giving your business to CLG. Yes, it is a business. But my experience has been that they genuinely care.
