Cherie was wonderful, kind and caring towards us and our dog. She definitely knows what she is doing and does it very very well. We sent Jack, our 18month old rescue for board and train and he came back to use with solid obedient skills. We will continue to put in the work, but we were given a great foundation to start with!

We took our 7 year old pit mix, Karma, to them due to reactivity issues. I was literally at my wits end with how our doggo was acting and had to do something. She went to the 2 week board and train with Cherie who was absolutely amazing. She kept us updated everyday with pics and videos with commentary on how things were going. Our karma girl is a different dog and I can’t be more thankful to Cherie and off leash for the help with our girl. The house is more relaxing and I’m able to actually have control that I need with her when we go on walks or just training her in general.

Sent my male husky to a two week board and train that cost 2600$ in Canton. This dog has not listened to one command he was *taught* since he came back. You still have to use the correction collar for him to listen to even basic commands. (Which I taught him he just doesnt always listen to) So what did I pay for?

Thank you for sharing your feedback—we appreciate you reaching out and giving us the chance to address this. We're sorry to hear that Maliki hasn't been responding to the commands at home the way you'd hoped after his two-week board and train.

That said, we wanted to remind you that Maliki did amazing during his entire stay with us—the linked video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f2bH699zG0c shows just how focused, obedient, and responsive he was to every command. Honestly for a Husky, that's genuinely impressive! Huskies are famously independent, strong-willed, and high-energy, often making consistent obedience one of the toughest breeds to achieve reliably. Seeing him excel here was a real highlight for the team.

Factors like different daily routines, added distractions, household dynamics, or interactions with other pets can all influence how quickly behaviors generalize. Specifically, things like fighting or tension with other dogs in the home are completely outside of our control during a board and train and they can definitely impact consistency once back in that environment.

The great news is there's no reason Maliki can't get right back to the level he showed with us. The foundation is there—he proved it here—and we're more than happy to help reinforce it. Just reach out to us, and we'll gladly schedule a free refresher session (or more if needed) to get him responding reliably. We're here to support you and Maliki so don't hesitate to message or call us directly to set something up. We want nothing more than for him to continue being the well-mannered pup we know he can be.

Our 3 year old blue heeler Dot did the two week board and train with trainer Cherie, after the two weeks Dot was a completely different dog in regard to her reactive behavior. Another incident that occured with Dot was over a year ago when we were all on a hike and Dot charged at another dog and nipped at them. Kyle did an AMAZING job with our dog, Frankie! Frankie is a pitbull mix puppy and while he’s always been friendly, he is so strong and was so distracted — we couldn’t train him. When he came back from 2 weeks with Kyle, he still had all his spunk but is now so well behaved!!! Kyle loved and cared for Frankie so well, and also trained him AMAZINGLY. I cannot believe what a good boy he is!

I had a great experience with Riley from Canton K9 training. She was very professional and knowledgeable on training my stubborn Shiba Inu puppy. Before sending Roxie to training, she did not have the best leash manners and would occasionally react in public and on walks. After 2 weeks of boarding with Riley, Roxie can now happily go on walks anywhere and everywhere with following my every command and we can confidently be in public without the worry of her acting out. I would highly recommend using Canton K9!

He is the same dog, but also different in a good way! We are able to control that scent driven drive in him, and our play times are more meaningful! We have taken him everywhere with no issues! He no longer steals food, and will place for the entirety of dinner. He doesn't jump on new guests, and has learned to control his excitement. I would highly recommend this training if you're struggling with the same issues we had. They're the experts for a reason! The best part? We had Riley train our Aussie. Olive was a rescue who has many issues including anxiety. We voiced our concerns to Riley, and she exceeded our expectations. Olive still has her quirks, but Riley was able to train Olive to be a much better behaved and obedient companion.

I cannot express my gratitude for trainer Riley and Off Leash K9 training program enough! My Staffordshire Terrier Allie was so well taken care of, and Riley kept us very updated. Riley helped teach me how to redirect Allie's dog reactivity and showed me how amazing of a dog she can be. I highly recommend this program!

Molly is my 85 year old mom's lab/blue heeler mix. She's 2-3 years old (found as a stray), high energy and extremely strong. She was completely uncontrollable. We were very afraid of my mom getting hurt. In desperation, we reached out to Off Leash K9 Training, Canton. In just two weeks, Molly was transformed into an obedient dog, capable of heeling and even recalling off leash! This final video is amazing! We have a lot of homework to do on our end now and Molly is smart enough to take advantage of our novice skills if we don't stay on top of her training. Riley was an amazing trainer, affectionate toward our dog, and gave us daily reports and videos. Thank you so much for giving us the tools to keep Molly with Mom and for restoring our sanity! ❤️

We had a great experience with Riley and Off Leash K9 Training. She was very professional, upbeat, and loving towards our 90-lb Australian shepherd. He was difficult to control and had even "nipped" a delivery guy. She took him for two weeks, and he came back a changed man. He is very obedient now and even seems calmer. No more barking out the front window at neighbors walking by; he now comes when called. We even took him to lunch with us a couple of days after he came home, and he sat next to us like a statue, watching people come and go from the restaurant. Life is much happier and calmer now that Riley has trained him well! Also, she posted nightly pictures and videos to a shared Google Drive so we could be part of the process. Sending him to Off Leash K9 Training was truly a fantastic experience! I highly recommend this process, specifically Riley.

Cannot recommend Nicole at OLK9 enough! She has honestly changed our lives with the tools she has given us & our dog during the 2 week board & train program. We were incredibly nervous to spend this chunk of change & leave our pup with a stranger for 2 weeks but as soon as I met Nicole, I knew he would be in great hands. She addressed all concerns we had & at turnover, she thoroughly explained how to continue the training at home to set us up for success. We loved her daily updates & it was very obvious that she grew to love our boy almost as much as we do😉. We will definitely be using Nicole for any refresher trainings in the future & will recommend her & OLK9 to everyone!
