Overall, we have never had a horrible experience here but there are better places for your pup at a better value. The owner of this location is very combative, read through the negative reviews, the responses are very unprofessional but also entertaining. This alone makes me wonder how well our dogs are taken care of and what goes on in there since they won’t let you inside. (Reviews are opinions, this owner doesn't think anyone should have one but her.)
We have used both Lawrence & THANK GOD the Noblesville location just opened three weeks ago. Camp Bow Wow advertises play all day but that doesn't happen at this location, especially on the weekends. (Cameras don't lie, always off) Both Noblesville & Lawrence locations actually let your dogs out for playtime the whole day. I've seen others on here state the same and the owner says the dogs that are in camp need a "break" on the weekend. I think the owner just needs the break, not every dog goes to camp here all week. This location does not live up to the Camp Bow Wow name and should just run as an independent. With the increase in pricing to $75 for boarding, we officially are pulling out of this location as there is no value. I'm not paying $75 for my dog to only be let out for a few hours over a 24-hour stay. The Noblesville location is $52/night and your dog will actually get to play AND you can bring their bed for an overnight :) Highly recommend looking at this location, the facility is beautiful and they will give you a full back of the house tour or Lawrence.
So sad to hear this! I LOVE Charlie, and we ALWAYS welcome tours. We also hold regular Open Houses that all clients are invited to, where you can come meet us and get a full tour of everything, including our play areas.
You are welcome to schedule one at any point. Because our lobby is quite small, we do not allow on-leash nose-to-nose greetings in the lobby. This is why we offer curbside concierge service.
Because Charlie has attended Day Camp consistently with us, you would not be paying the standard rate of $75, but you would qualify for the VIP Overnight Camp rate.
I have to say, I am quite surprised to hear this, as we have always had very positive interactions. In fact, I was the one who conducted Charlie’s evaluation and often check him in. I have also completed all of his nail trims using our consent-based handling techniques, spent hours with him in the Play Areas, and have (probably) hundreds of photos and videos of him playing at Camp on my phone. So far, I have had no complaints or issues. Charlie always had a great time with us, however, if you feel the other locations suit you better, we will be sad to see you go!
I have to say, it will sadden me, as I really love Charlie and am quite fond of you guys, as well.
I would like to hear your feedback regarding our cameras, as they should always be fully operational and on. In fact, our webcams, like all other locations, are run by PB&J TV, and wr typically get an alert when the cams are down. We have only 3 rest breaks for the Campers, which are 7-8:30am (breakfast), 11am-1pm (lunch), and 4-5:30pm (dinner). The same schedule is followed on weekends and holidays, however, we have an extended rest break of 12-3pm.
Feel free to give me a call, Joshua! I would love to get some more feedback from you on how we could improve your experience and to get some clarification on this, as we have always had such lovely interactions.
