Justin was our chopper pilot for Airlie Beach Helicopter experience. He instantly made us feel at ease, as we had never been in a helicopter before. Informative about the Whitsunday area and we even spotted a whale from above! The half hour flight included a flyover the Whitsunday islands and Whitehaven Beach..a must see from above. I would highly recommend this to add to your holiday experience.

Justin is extremely accommodating and interesting. Gave us an option to postpone due to poor weather and he picked a beautiful day. Been up in the plane and fished the reef many times but the helicopter is so low and close - amazing. And Whitehaven beach was perfect, champers , a beer and nibblies - hard to beat. Highly recommended

We were on a Royal Caribbean cruise when we stopped off at Airlie Beach for a day and spotted a sign for Airlie Beach Helicopters. Being super spontaneous I decided there and then to give it a go (as it was my 50th on the day). I am so so glad we decided to go.
We called their number and they were so friendly and accomodating, even at such late notice they did their best to help us out. An hour later we were in the air enjoying an experience of a lifetime.
The owner and pilot Justin is such a nice guy and a very experienced pilot, having flown helicopters since age 16. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the area as well. The helicopter is still fairly new so very clean and well looked after.
My wife and daughter were a bit nervous about it all but after a couple minutes in the air they forgot all about that and were all smiles and just thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
We paid extra to land on Whitehaven Beach and I can’t recommend this enough. It is an absolute MUST! Justin really took great care of us and seemed to enjoy himself as well which makes it so much nicer. We spent around an hour enjoying the beach and a drink and some snacks.
On the way back, Justin spent some extra time flying along a route where you get to see the Inner Reef areas. The views are spectacular and you just don’t want it to end.
Thanks Justin for making my 50th such an incredible memory. You rock!

Stunning...Do Not Miss This One!
If you're in the area, this is an amazing experience to be part of. Justin is a great guy, as is his Wife too. The tour really does showcase the best aerial views and was without doubt worth every penny. We were collected and returned to our Hotel in a timely manner. The aerial picture post card views are simply stunning and not to be missed. The ride was very smooth too, with only a minor bump here and there, but nothing to put anyone off. The Helicopter appears modern and clean and we were fully briefed prior to take off. Again...just try this trip out even if you have to make a few beer and wine sacrifices!!! 😃😂
Just did a personalised tour for 3 people with Justin, can't recommend enough, awesome personal service, spectacular views of all that the Whitsundays to the Great Barrier Reef has to offer, very informative and knowledgeable, do yourself a favour if you get to Airlie Beach and book a trip with this guy. 100/10

A fantastic experience flying with Airlie Beach Helicopters.
From the start we we're fully taken care of. Justin was our pilot and he was great to have fly and host us. Very knowledgeable of the area, super positive attitude.
It was a hassle free day and made a special memory for us we will not forget.
Highly recommend going with Airlie Beach Helicopters. You'll be treated exclusively and not like the other big operators do as just another person in a line up to take a flight.

Just Wow!
We had an amazing trip this week to see the Great Barrier Reef and land on stunning Whitehaven Beach. The personal helicopter ride was fantastic and our pilot Justin was just great. Spectacular flight out to the reef and then 90 mins to relax on the beach with a picnic and a couple of drinks. This has been the best experience of our trip so far and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Airlie Beach.

Justin's Airlie Beach Helicopter Tour was a unique experience which I do recommend to everybody. I booked for my family the Whitehaven rest&relax package (2 kids, 3y &5y) we made unforgetable memories for a lifetime!

After booking, the communication with Airlie Helicopters was first class. They arranged pick up from the hotel right on time. Darren was very friendly and informative. At the airfield Justin, the pilot went through safety procedures, took photos for us and got us ready to fly. We booked for just the two of us and it was a perfect experience. Justin provided an excellent commentary as we passed over some of the most spectacular scenery on the planet. I cannot think of anything that could have improved the overall experience...First class

Justin the pilot was fantastic with both his knowledge, friendliness and made me at ease as I was very nervous about flying.
We are so glad we paid the extra money to land on Whitehaven Beach. Was truly amazing and Justin supplied a delicious cheese platter along with champagne and beers.
