Words cannot describe our experience here. The stark drive across an immense pan in an unusual gentle rain, the moonscape campsite, flooded with stars, the emptiness echoing as we fell asleep. Then a fascinating, enthralling, pioneering journey into the endearing camels and their milking. And finally, tasting and testing on the cool verhanda as our distinctive caravan traipsed along a distant path.

Thank you for the great review Dan, so glad you enjoyed your visit!
A good experience and worth a visit although they only gave the tour in Afrikaans. The camel dairy is interesting and its fun to pat the camels. Surprisingly the camels really enjoy the affection. The camel milk products are very good. The milk and icecream are delicious. Apparently very good for autism.
The so called Lost City of the Kalahari was very interesting to visit. Although the legend isn't true the scenery is ethereal and other worldly. Tables were set up for sundowner drinks and snacks in amongst the rock formations and the famous Karoo sunset was spectacular.
