We arranged for Cambridgeshire Roofing to inspect the roof of a property we are in the process of purchasing, but unfortunately they failed to attend the scheduled appointment. Despite calling multiple times over the course of an hour, we were repeatedly told they were “just around the corner” before they eventually stopped answering altogether.
This was particularly frustrating as we had coordinated the appointment to suit the sellers, the estate agent, ourselves, and the roofing company. No effort was made to contact us to apologise or explain the situation afterwards.
Overall, the experience was disappointing and unprofessional. It resulted in a significant waste of time and so I would not recommend their services

The company were recommended to us, having been let down a few times.
My initial enquiry was responded to quickly and I received a very quick call back (good).
I asked the guy on the phone if they do domestic work (he said yes) and I explained in full my problem, leaking roof/lead flashing and other potential issues. Yes we can deal with all of that I was told (great I thought).
Could they come that day, look at the job to enable a quote, I said yes of course(wow good again).
Later that day two guys arrived in the signature Cambs Roofing Ltd blue van, to look and quote the job. One guy older had injured leg, the other guy younger beard, but both were very nice and pleasant. The job, what I wanted done was discussed, they explained what they felt needed to be done, and took their measurements.
I told them about being let down and mucked around by other roofing firms. I know the job wasn’t the biggest or most complicated or a massive money spinner, but I had a leaky for that needed fixing.
The older guy (possibly Dave I think) had my details, took my email address and said to me he’d get back with a quote ‘give me a couple of days’ he said.
That was weeks ago. I’ve heard nothing from them, didly squat, nadda!
Yet another waste of time roofing firm, talk the talk, make promises, then treat customers shoddily.
I would rather a firm were honest and say sorry but the jobs not for us!
So Cambridgeshire Roofing Ltd……. Quick Response to Enquiry, Quick Quote visit but
Very poor customer service, clearly not as honest and efficient as all their wonderful reviews make them out to be, plus I’ll now be going back to the person from a large business (they do high value work for) and who recommended them to us, to let them know how very let down we were buy them as a company. Just like all the other time wasters we’ve come across.
I’m sorry guys, but you have to accept bad feedback as well as all the good you like to publicise.

Excellent customer service. Dave came out to look what repair was needed, sent us a quote, we were happy with, and the work was carried out the very next day. Will defo recommend cambridgeshire roofing thank you all.
