Solid local hill.
Getting back into skiing after a long time off. Love the convenience of the digital ticket online. Made getting from the car and to the slopes super easy and quick.
Hill offers a good number of runs for different skill levels. We skied for the day without tiring of the runs.
It's not a major ski resort. Two days of skiing here and you have lapped all the good runs multiple times. The hill is just big enough, noticable larger than Moonstone.

Overall could probably use new management or ownership. This hotel and ski hill have a lot of potential but seem to always fall short. Pretty sad for Ontario’s highest elevation ski hill.
Probably the worst unloading area’s of any lift or resort I’ve been on… typically an icey 45° ramp with a wall of people who don’t move out of the unloading area. Should move some dirt and shape it properly / less aggressive in the off season, but they can’t even try to pack it or build it up with some snow?
Honestly feels like this place is just being milked as hard as it can without putting anything back into it. I definitely don’t visit this place as much as I used to, and don’t recommend it to anyone anymore.
Maybe next year will be better…but doubtful.
Mu husband and I spend the weekend at this beautiful resort. The rooms were newly renovated and very cozy. Check in was easy and staff all over the resort were attentive and knowledgeable. The conditions for skiing we perfect! The restaurant in the hotel was delicious. We would definitely visit again.

I had the pleasure of staying at Calabogie Peaks resort over the weekend! What an incredibly memorable visit! The skiing was incredible, (sunshine on a warm March day was a plus)! The rooms were updated and modern but the staff was exceptional! From Tara and Ethan, Paige and Mackenzie, Abbey and Jagjeet to the whole rentals and lodge staff! Everyone was attentive and responsive to all of our needs. Smiling, engaging and super attentive. This resort is such a cozy and warm environment with so much to do! When we weren't skiing, we were hiking out to Eagle's Nest, sitting out by the far or enjoying a game with friends...not to mention a stop in at some of the local eateries and brewery. I will definitely be back in the summer as there is so much more to explore in this beautiful area!
I went here for my anniversary and the second after we checked in and paid she told me that the pool was closed, when we had only went there for that and we asked for a refund immediately she said we couldn’t do that and when we asked for the manager she said she couldn’t get a hold of them. So we said that we’ll just call our credit card company then she ended up voided the transaction cause she knew we were going to get our money back one way or another. She also threatened me at the counter for asking for my money back and my husband had to step in front I’m not sure why she wanted to fight me considering it wasn’t her money. It was the resorts. This ruined my chance of getting to another place at a decent time and ruined our chance at going out to dinner so I highly do not recommend ever coming here.
5 star, 4 star and 3 star aspects:
5 star - location, rooms (kings), bathrooms. Friendly staff.
4 star food and service in the restaurant (which in my opinion is great for a hotel).
3 star:
Common areas a bit shabby.
Limited food choices.
An inconsistent policy on supplying tea/coffee in the restaurant - sometimes they would give it away, sometimes they would give it away if you used a throw away cup but want to charge if you wanted a proper cup. Then I was charged $3++ for tea in my own cup.
Inconsistent response about room cleaning. Firstly, they come in daily to empty the bins and give clean towels. But they left dirty towels on the floor. Also personally I couldn't go into a room and leave the bed untidy - just can't do it, 15 seconds is all it takes to make it a bit tidy. If I didn't do that I certainly wouldn't leave a little envelope with my name on it expecting a tip.
Finally, on the 2nd day I asked at reception about the bed making and they said they do it on the 3rd day. On the 3rd day they didn't do it. We stayed 5 nights and they never made the beds or did proper tidying/cleaning.
