Amazing, family business owned by a couple who care about the craft. A perfect pairing of comics and coffee. Cannot express how excellent they are.

Wonderful place to order comics from, nice variety of books, exceptional customer service with orders- packaged securely, and if you're local they can hook you up with free delivery, usually the next day! The owners are very involved with local events as well, which makes them easy to support.

Was far too excited to open them, and mistakenly forgot to take pictures of the EXCELLENT packaging and thoughtful details. Website surfing was simple, organized, and visually appealing. What a pleasure it has been to shop and support such an awesome and fun company in this community. Great books, at GREAT prices. And to top it all off, a family run business that treats you like one of their own. Appreciate you guys for everything you do to keep this medium alive, can’t wait for the next order ❤️

Stumbled upon this site when I was trying to find a copy of Absolute Batman Vol 1. My copy arrived quickly and in amazing shape with a comic sleeve, sample comics, and some free stickers. Can't recommend this place enough!

Well boy howdy, we can't thank you enough, pardner! Knowing you landed in our little comics & coffee corner of the interwebs and found EXACTLY what you were hunting for? That’s the perfect bean in the brew right there. But on to more important topics... was that book awesome, or what?! Easily one of the strongest Batman arcs of 2025, and you better believe we’re planning to keep that trade series restocked and growing.

Thanks for your very kind words, thanks for reminding us why we do this, and swing on back over anytime!

PS. You may want to take a look at the *cough cough* second-to-last page *cough cough* of our digital brochure. Just sayin. ☕️🤪

Whole bean coffee and comics is a pair destined for success. Not to mention, every coffee order helps pitch in toward improving child literacy and provides comics to sick kids, what more reason do you need?

Zachariah! We’re just now seeing your awesome review, and thank you! You nailed it... comics, coffee, AND a cause? That’s the whole recipe right there. We’re grateful you get what we’re building and even more grateful you’re part of it!! ☕️📚

This store only exists online and nobody actually runs it i tried reaching out to them with no prevail probably just another failed business

Interesting take, and while you're correct that we're currently online only, we do try to answer every message, email, voicemail and outreach as quickly as possible. If voicemail doesn't catch us, email or the socials definitely will. I did a search for your details, and nothing came up, so maybe try reaching out again. As for failure, I suppose one would have to succeed at business first in order to fail, so for now, we'll just keep on roasting forward. ☕️

We’re thrilled everything survived the trip with no kaiju attacks, no multiversal glitches, just crisp comics and cardboard with a PhD in resilience. Thanks for rolling with us! You’re officially part of the BWM Comics crew. No take-backs. ☕️

We are beyond grateful to you, Alex. Our corporate focus groups have advised us to zero-in heavily on the nostalgia flashback factor, which has positioned us to increase our research department's efforts in the "wait, is it my birthday?" chemical reaction within the human brain. We're pleased to see the fruits of those efforts take shape. Please share your experience with every single human you encounter in this lifetime henceforth, so that we may continue our quest for comics & coffee domination. ☕️

These guys are awesome! I went searching online for a very specific back issue I’d lost over the years. Blackwater Market came up as one of the only sources that had it in stock. It arrived earlier than expected and so well-packaged that, despite arriving in the rain, the contents of the package were pristine. To top it off, they threw in an additional issue for FREE, just because. (How cool?!) Thanks BWM team, I’ll definitely be back for more!

Sam, thank you so much for the great feedback! Nothing can ruin a day quite as productively as when your shipped comics meet an unrequested rain storm, but hearing that our packaging stood up to the test fires up the tiny coffee roaster inside our hearts. Enjoy your books, friend! ☕️
