One of the worst moving experiences of my life, was very clearly inebriated the entire time and showed up very LATE, similar to most of these bad reviews. Did not even finish moving everything in. Stay away from this company was not worth the absurd amount of money i was charged!

Had booked moving service several months in advance, they arrived 5 hours later than on contract. The owner came with someone who appeared to never have moving experience and was screamed at in a manner I have never witnessed in my life and had neighbors asking if everything was ok. Very unprofessional and would never recommend this scam of a service to my worst enemy.
Hello Kyle, we are sorry to hear that your experience was not satisfactory. Our movers arrived 2 hours late, at 12:30pm rather than 10:30am. We informed you a week in advance that we would be unable to arrive until at least 10:30am, not 8:30am as we had originally agreed. And, due to road work that was occuring east of Ottawa on our way to you, in Montreal, and a serious accident that occured on the 417 in Ottawa the day before your move that shutdown 10kms of what is essentially the only road to effectively move through Ottawa, our move before yours was pushed back well into the early hours of the morning of your move. These factors caused us to be 2, not 5 hours late. You are correct, one of the movers was green, and he wasn't doing a great job of supporting the weight of a heavy fridge down a narrow twisting Montreal staircase. He was vocally reprimanded, and for that we apologize, but your fridge nor any other of your belongings were damaged. You were also given 2 hours off your bill, free, and already had a discounted rate for having a trainee on your job; despite having uninformed us of the 2 massive flights of stairs at your new apartment in Gatineau. Every single one of your items was well wrapped, and we got the move done for the agreed upon amount in the estimate, despite the move taking 2 hours over because of the stairs. You got a good price on your move, and the trainee on your job worked quickly, despite his inexperience. Again, I'm sorry that you were not satisfied with your move. But, beyond having wrapped everything and causing zero damages to your home(s), and giving you a large discount on-top of a discounted rate, I'm not sure there is much else we can do to fix this issue for you. Busy Bee Movers did an amazing job moving our radio studio to it’s new location! There was a lot of complex audio and I.T. equipment and they handled it all with great care. They were also quick and clean with all the rest of our furniture and office supplies, helping us get the move done in record time and minimizing any interruptions to our operations. Nigel and his team were great to deal with, very professional and capable of moving even our most unruly granite broadcast desks. We love working with locally owned, independent businesses because of the high degree of care and quality of service, and Busy Bee is no exception.
