A wonderful experience that was everything I hoped it would be. The nurses are incredibly friendly, gentle, and attentive. Inês has been fabulous for whole time coordinating the procedure and she always answered my questions promptly and politely. And of course, Dr. Ferreira is the best doctor in the world. I was ecstatic when I was able to book the consultation and accepted for a procedure. His reputation is stellar and he lives up to it. He has incredible bedside manner, very communicative, and does fabulous work. Im writing this day after my procedure and I can’t wait to see how it turns out.

Dr Ferreira is a fantastic and exceptionally skilled Doctor. After several months of research, I shortlisted Dr Ferreira amongst 52 of the worlds top doctors. From the outset, I could tell Dr Ferreira was going to be the doctor of choice. Some of the reasons are provided below, in addition to confirmation of such through my experience with him and his team: 1) He has worked alongside Dr Lorenzo, one of the major heavyweights of the hair transplant industry. When choosing my doctor, I had to be absolutely sure of their experience and background, and Dr Ferreira's CV is immaculate. 2) Dr Ferreira provided a meticulous summary of the issues I had with my hair during the initial consultation stage (although yes, I had to pay for the fast-track, but he was already one of my shortlisted doctors at that point) - I doubt you would get a response from Dr Ferreira within 4 weeks otherwise, as he is in exceptionally high demand. 3) Dr Ferreira won't even consider you as a patient, until you've actively stabilised your hair. After speaking with 52 of the worlds best doctors - I can assure this that only the best doctors operate in this manner (he's not trying to force you into the chair). 4) He only uses one patient manager, and she is amazing - Ines will guide you properly, and not impose any pressure like other patient managers. 5) When you visit his clinic in Espinho (only about 40min train ride from Porto, very easy and cheap to get to, even by taxi direct), you'll notice how modern it is. It's clean and minimalist - matching his brand and philosophy. 6) Dr Ferreira surrounds himself with a small team which shape his entire operation - these are very carefully selected staff, as he runs a tight ship and the whole squad is aligned to work as one unit. 7) As a true perfectionist, he spent over 30 minutes adjusting the hairline until he felt like it was correct. It really shows you how much passion he has for his work. 8) The most fundamental criteria I had was to have a doctor undertake the surgery solely for me on the day. No other surgeries, no other distractions. There are very few doctors that operate in this manner, because its quite expensive to run. However, Dr Ferreira is firm in his approach to only operate on one patient per day - this is the safest and most appropriate method of surgery of this type. 9) The lunch provided during the middle of the day at the clinic is truly exceptional, fresh cooked meal which you can eat in your own comfort, as an entire area is designated for your benefit. 10) The aftercare is fantastic, Dr Ferreira and his team are available for any queries after the operation. For the first four days post-transplant, I stayed in Espinho and revisited the clinic on the 4th day post-op to see Dr Ferreira and have my hair washed. Overall, the whole setup is just blissful and I didn't experience any issues whilst under Dr Ferreira's care. I highly recommend speaking with him if you get an opportunity to discuss your goals.

The work of Dr. Ferreira and his team has changed my life. I was treated with patience, decency and respect at the clinic and the result of my hair transplant is 100%. Would recommend to anyone who considers it.

Excellent surgeon, incredibly welcoming team. I didn't have any doubt the surgery was going to be a success. I couldn't be happier with the results. If you want peace of mind and full attention from beginning to end that is what you will have with Dr. Ferreira and Team. I always felt I was in good hands, honest pre op assessments, realistic evaluations, neat surgical environment, post op follow ups for reassurance and splendid care from the entire team. Easy to see how Dr Ferreira truly cares about his job.

My care under Dr. Ferreira has been extraordinary. After careful research, several communications with different clinics, I decided to contact Dr. Ferreira. Initial contact, well thought out and personally crafted email addressing my concerns, specific questions as well as actionable game plan already put Dr. Ferreira and his team above competition. I flew to Portugal from USA during pandemic and clinic's support throughout my itinerary has been great. Dr. Ferreira is absolute fanatic of his profession and a perfectionist. He approaches his job as an artist and every step of the way from planning the surgery to executing is led by Dr. Ferreira. He dedicates all of his attention to one patient and his team also makes you feel as a superstar. Needless to say that all of this praise would be impossible without immaculate results that I have received from the surgery. Thank you doc!

I don't write reviews often, in fact almost never, but in this case I am obliged to write, because it is almost impossible to describe my satisfaction with the results after both the first and the recently completed second hair transplant by Dr. Bruno Ferreira and his amazing team. Dr. Bruno Ferreira undertook to do my hair transplant, even though mine was not the easiest case. In fact I understand that I was one of Dr. Ferreira's most difficult cases because my hair is very thin and delicate, plus the large area needing treatment. I must admit I was very nervous beforehand, but the results I saw after the first treatment were amazing - completely natural and a dramatic improvement to my appearance and self-confidence - so much so that I was really looking forward to the second treatment, which I had just 3 weeks ago. Looking in the mirror, I smile and wait impatiently for the next few months because I know that I will be using the comb and hair styling products again :) I would like to thank Dr. Bruno Ferreira and the whole team from the bottom of my heart for all that you have done for me. I am very pleased and grateful that I managed to find such a professional doctor who decided to undertake a difficult operation which I realise required the highest level of surgical skills.

Though I admire Dr. Ferreira's talent and work, unfortunately my rating is due to the enormous wait time required to seek an initial consultation from him. I had submitted my details way back in Nov'21, and after numerous follow ups, I have failed to get any communication. The only standard response I get from his team is - "Due to the very high volume of contacts we receive, we're no longer offering an estimate of the time it may take for Dr. Ferreira to analyze your case." Just a suggestion - I understand that Dr. Ferreira is very good at his work, and therefore the demand is high. However it is only fair, and respectful, that you provide a tentative estimate to a potential patient, instead of making them wait endlessly without ever knowing whether they would ever recieve a response. It's almost like they don't care. I'm sure new patients would appreciate a sense of some importance being shown. It's fine to say sorry we are not taking new patients at the moment, at least that gives a closure and one can move forward with exploring other options. 4 months, and still waiting. Update 21st April: I received the online assessment from Dr. Bruno Ferreira, which I'm glad was quite comprehensive and professional. I have to say that unlike other surgeons, his methodology and prognosis is very patient centric and he doesn't push for surgery when he isn't confident of the end result. Overall, he's the go to man when it comes to a completely honest and transparent assessment.

I don’t usually do rate and reviews but I like to know how things are rated and reviewed! But I felt compelled in this case. Fantastic experience and professionalism from Dr Ferreira and his team. From the first consultation, the procedure, and the after care and continued contact even more than a year after the operation, everything was first class. Dr Ferreira has a genuine passion for his work and making a difference to his patients lives through top quality results and that’s why I would highly recommend. It’s makes the whole experience much more enjoyable and relaxing knowing you have gone with Dr Ferreira and the team and are in safe hands.

My overall experience of the end to end service from consultation, pre-op instructions, surgery and to the aftercare has been explementary. Massive thank you to Dr Ferreira and is whole team for treating me like a VIP with it being one patient per day, with not at one point feeling like i was being rushed. Special mention goes to Ricardo of whom really settled my nerves and looked after me for the whole two days! Now its time to wait and see the results. Thanks again
