I have been with Brentwood Family Dentistry for over a year and have been very impressed. They run on schedule and have had good experiences with the dentist, the hygienist and the front desk. They were able to fit me in when I had an emergency issue with a tooth. Dr. Mick Doherty and his two sons and all top notch, both professionally and personally.

Dr. Mic is the best dentist ever!!! Been going to him for over 20 yrs. He's always concerned about my pain level. I'm never rushed and staff is friendly and helpful. Both son's are now in the practice as well and they are also great, seen them as well and my daughter sees them...caring practice!!!

I have seen Dr Doherty for 20+ years. He has been a wonderful dentist, kind, caring and his assistant works seamlessly with him. I send my kids and now grandkids to him. My grandson has Autism, and Dr Doherty has gained his confidence (which is no easy feat),so he can do the exams without any problems. I highly suggest Dr Doherty. The office girls are kind and able to get you an appointment asap.

Always a GREAT experience. The staff really goes out of their way to make you feel like family.

I've been coming to this place for most of my 39 years and I can't say enough about them. Peg and Mary take great care of me on a regular basis. I was sad when Dr. Rhea retired but all the Drs. Doherty are spectacular. Professional, efficient, warm, and pleasant experience all around.

I have been a patient of Brentwood Family Dentistry since they opened their practice in 1993, and was a patient of Dr. Rhea for years before that. The Doctors Doherty and staff are EXCELLENT! Appointments are on time. They fully explain dental issues, present treatment options, and take the time to answer my concerns and questions. They are the finest example of expertise, courtesy, and office efficiency.

I have been a patient of Family Dentistry for over 30 years after my childhood Dentist retired. From the professional friendly receptionist Peg, to my Dental hygenist Mary, to the Dentist Dr. Michael Doughtery, family denistry is a very warm friendly comfortable enviroment. I just had a crown installed and I was super nervous. I could not even hardly feel the novacaine shots. They always do a great job and I would never go anywhere else to have dental work. Since I could remember I've had this brown staining on my front teeth from a brown steroid inhaler I used for my asthma as a child. In just one visit, Dr. Michael R. Doherty, D.D.S not only restored my smile but gave me the confidence to smile freely for the first time in my life! The staff was very friendly and you can just tell that they really care about their patients and believe in what they do. I am forever grateful and will continue to return for their wonderful services!

When I first moved to St. Louis, a co-worker recommended Brentwood Family Dentistry. It was easy to make an appointment (just a bi-annual cleaning) and they provided text reminders as my appointment date drew near. My hygienist was very nice and the dentist's checkup was prompt and easy. They have appointments available before 8:00 a.m., which is really convenient if you have an 8:00 to 5:00 work schedule and they are centrally located. UPDATE: It's been two years since I started going to Brentwood Family Dentistry and they continue to impress me at every turn. They are transparent and honest about the work that needs to be done, and I have referred many friends to them who have had a wonderful experience. Recently, I learned I would be moving out of state and both my hygienist and Dr. Dan readily gave me advice on how to find/choose a dentist in a new city. I have since changed my mind and will continue planning my dentist appointments around when I am back in town, because Brentwood Family Dentistry is too good to let go! I cannot recommend this awesome dental team enough.

I have been going here most of my life along with the rest of my family. It’s a family business and it shows. Dr. Doherty and now both of his sons are such knowledgeable dentists with warm & upbeat personalities. They give you their full attention and make you feel valued as their patient. Always impressed with the dental hygienists too, and what what a calming effect the entire staff has on our young children. Would not want to go anywhere else!

Always a good experience! I’ve been seeing Dr. Doherty for as long as I can remember and I’m happy to see awesome care is a family tradition. Always well cared for here. The hygienists are all great as well. Same with the people working at the desk. Highly recommended!

I called today to see about making an appointment. The lady who answered the phone was horrible and should not be the 1st point of contact for new customers. She was dry, her tone was not welcoming and she didn’t act as though she was happy to help. She was very short and it came across like I had caught her at the wrong time. I didn’t even make the appointment because I didn’t want to talk to her any longer. The final straw was when she asked if I had insurance, I replied “yes” and her response was “well who is it?” I just said “Never-mind bye”. If that’s how you talk to me over the phone I can only imagine what the in-person service is like.
