My wife had her second appointment at BMR. I can't say enough GREAT things about this place. If I could give more STARS I would. Everybody is so attentive. You feel no pressure. If I know somebody who's need of a study. I'm going to recommend they go to BMR.

My Mom has been a patient at Brain Matters in Delray Beach, FL for the past year and a half. She has been diagnosed with dementia and I am new to Delray Beach after moving from Los Angeles in order to be able to help her. I did not realize that there was a respected, renowned clinical study practice involved with the care, prevention and study of Dementia and Alzheimers with cutting edge clinical trials.
Her neurologist Dr. Brian Costell (he is also amazing) referred us to Brain Matters and worked with Dr. Patel to find the right clinical study for her. We were able to get my Mom in a clinical study by Eli Lilly where she was guaranteed the medication and it has been a game changer for her. While it will not bring back her memory, it has assisted in having it not get worse and we are so grateful that Brain Matters has taken such incredible care of her during this groundbreaking study. Dr. Patel who oversees the organization is so kind and compassionate. All of the employees who work with her are so knowledgable and approachable and very kind to the family members and home health aides who also have to come to the visits. They always answer every question and do their best to look out for the whole family in addition to the patient.
I also got to participate in a study that was looking for children of parents with Alzheimer's or Dementia to test for certain genetic markers. I am so grateful to Brain Matters and for the important work they do in helping people with these horrible, heartbreaking diseases, and for giving families some hope.
