Cirrus SR22 Pre-Buy nightmare. Paid $20k for a pre buy inspection and repairs in November 2024.
Doing my annual now in California (Aug 2025). Bill is $50k.
Another $10k charge just after I got back home from the pre-buy because they missed TKS system issues. Total loss $60k because Boca didn’t do their job.
That’s how much stuff Boca missed during their pre-buy inspection.
They were also super shady and tried to charge my card for unapproved charges after I left their shop.
Stay away!
I have used this company twice. The first time we had to change out an HMU for our aircraft that was stranded in the Bahamas with a hurricane approaching. The second time was to repair a chip detector. Both times BAM cam through quickly. Whenever my company has an issue in southern Florida or the Carribean, we think of calling BAM first.
I highly recommend this company for any AOG work.
We recently had both our Phenom 300 and Cirrus SR22 serviced here, and the experience was excellent from start to finish.
For the Phenom 300, we had a complex project involving the installation of a USB-C outlet to power our Starlink Mini system. Alessandro, the avionics technician, did outstanding work—he was incredibly thorough and made sure everything was completed to OEM specifications. The attention to detail and professionalism were top-notch.
On the Cirrus SR22 side, Brandon handled our 100-hour inspection with exceptional efficiency. His team completed everything in just one working day without compromising quality. A few weeks later, we ran into an issue with a faulty manifold pressure sensor, and BAM was able to address it immediately—fitting us in last minute and replacing the part without delay.
Superb service all around. Great team of guys, and we’ll definitely be working with them again.
Be careful with BAM. While everyone was professional, not everything is always at it seems. Been waiting over a year for some work to be completed that still isn’t done. And some parts sold as new were clearly used.
I approve Boca Aircraft Maintenance. During flight to KBCT in a CJ3, a discrepancy developed, requiring service before another flight could take place. After discussing with BAM, they drove across the ramp to the aircraft, diagnosed the problem, and provided a solution. What likely would have been a lengthy, expensive, shop visit at most MRO's was instead a quick, efficient mobile visit. BAM shop is clean and organized, with courteous and professional staff. I will not hesitate to enlist their service again.
Boca Air Maintenance offer world class service and fantastic attention to detail through their general aviation and support service. 'BAM' have also championed our range of Powervamp ground power units which are used daily in their Boca Raton base - so much so, that they now recommend them to their customers!
