I WILL NEVER use Bluehost EVER AGAIN and tell EVERYONE not to use Bluehost. After paying for a three year service in full, Bluehost has kept charging my card monthly without our permission. When I requested a refund of $75, they have refused to refund that amount. Then, I wanted to cancel the rest of the two years and receive my money back which was $167. They have refused to refund that amount, also. Bluehost customer service says that it is NON-REFUNDABLE. It has no customer service and it does not stay behind its services. Bluehost is a huge rip-off!
Losing $145,000 to a scam shattered me. I felt helpless and completely broken. That’s when I found Mrs. Mercy. Her team’s professionalism stood out right away. They didn’t sugarcoat anything—they gave me a clear roadmap and followed through with constant updates. I didn’t expect much, but they came through and recovered a large amount of what I lost. Their support made all the difference.

Bluehost, keeps losing pages. They wanted $49 to fix the "complicated" problem. They told me to back up my pages which costs another $49 per year subscription to do that. I wanted to add keywords to my site, but that's another subscription with a different company. This business is the worst I've seen in twenty-five years of creating websites.
Excellent Support from Bluehost – Helped Me Launch My Recruitment Site!
I’m incredibly grateful to Bluehost for their outstanding support in helping me set up the domain for my job portal, jobs.ayiam.net. As a growing digital agency, launching a platform like this was a major step for us, and Bluehost made the process seamless.
Their team was responsive, patient, and knowledgeable—guiding me through domain configuration and DNS setup without any hassle. The service is reliable, the dashboard is user-friendly, and their support staff truly go above and beyond.
Thanks to Bluehost, I now have a professional and functional recruitment website live and running. Highly recommend them to anyone starting a serious online project!

Blue host emails have so many issues.
All incoming email has bounced backed to senders for 2 days.
Initially when I set up the email I could not send any emails. It support calls and 6 days to fix
Signing into webmail from the account sign in page has never worked.
Totally embarrassing for my business with my clients.

On April 15,2025, Bluehost failed to maintain the updates I saved and also overwrote entire sections of the template with a completely different content section from a different template. A feat in which I do not know how to do. On April 14, 2025, I selected a template, updated text, and uploaded a logo, then saved my work. I logged in several times that day and the edits last saved were always there. When I logged in two days later, my changes were gone and replaced by a different template version. Bluehost’s system had overwritten my site without warning. I contacted support, and their attempted backup restore that did not recover my content. Despite this malfunction, they refused to issue a refund. I expected a reliable, functioning website builder, which they failed to provide. They are negligent and they insinuated that it was my fault stating that something like this can only happen by someone who has access to the account. If this is the case, and I am the only one outside of their organization that has access, then someone from their organization did this. If not, then it is a software/system defect and they are not to be trusted.
You get what you pay for.
Overall: We were long-time customers and came back this month to set up a business email. As we found with other companies that have offshore support, it's impossible to figure out their DNS instructions and get the product up and working. We tried for a week, then went to Google Workspace--rapid setup, instant help, no worries. Businesses like mine do not have time to wait around while a company like Bluehost responds to a trouble ticket. Pros: There are a variety of options like web hosting, domain hosting and business email. The product is more affordable than some others. Cons: After years of outstanding support based in the U.S., they moved to an outsourced overseas model, and it's a mess--no solutions, agents speak rudimentary English, poorly trained. Plus, the product setup up is not intuitive, takes forever, and you can't get help. Not for me.

Bluehost is a Go To for Wordpress Users
Overall: My overall experience has been very good. Customer service has been great as it’s available 24/7 for any assistance the user may need. Pros: Bluehost has been a great host for my Wordpress website. It makes building a website easy and affordable. Cons: I am not a fan of the upselling of add-ons that are often necessary for your website as well as the speed that can sometimes be a bit slow.
Complete dog water
Overall: Cannot recieve emails from outlook Cannot connect to a client using IMAP Given wrong instructions repeatedly to fix the problems and none of them ever worked Customer service does not read, ask questions or provide clear instructions or solutions that work. complete waste of time. Cons: NOTHING. THEIR SERVICE DOESNT WORK AND CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!
Terrible customer service! The webpage goes down about every month, sometimes the links just stop working and no one can fix it. I'll spend two days trying to get them to fix it and they usually try to sell me something new (like design service, or more malware protection). But then the next month the site breaks again. It has been the worst hosting service I have ever used.

After 12 years as a Bluehost customer, I can confidently say their service has degraded beyond belief—and their business practices are outright predatory.
For over a decade, my experience with Bluehost was tolerable. Not great, but functional. That all changed when I upgraded my service last year, expecting better performance. Instead, I got constant problems, downtime, and sluggish performance.
I spent countless hours with their support team, going through the same useless troubleshooting steps, only to hear, “We’ll move you to a new server—that should fix it.” Finally, I agreed, only to be slapped with an exorbitant extra charge just to move my account. But guess what? It didn’t fix anything.
Frustrated and exhausted, I left Bluehost entirely. You’d think, after paying for two more years of service upfront, they would at least offer a partial refund for the time I won’t be using. Nope. They flat-out refused. So not only did they fail to deliver on their promises, but they also kept my money for a service I won’t use.
Bluehost has become a cash-grabbing, customer-hostile company that preys on long-time users with deceptive upsells and pathetic service. If you’re considering Bluehost, run in the opposite direction. There are far better, more ethical hosting providers out there.
Final Verdict: 0/5 – Avoid at all costs.
Absolutely the worst. Customer support is incapable of helping. You will spend hours with offshored support that uses accent correction so it will be nearly impossible to understand them
Most of their 'paved path' does not actually work. Buying their live support for your blog is horrid. You might was well find homeless person, give them 5 bucks and have them help
