Very unprofessional! Broke furniture and never let the homeowner know until threaten with legal action. Furniture never returned. Also, their locations at 333 H Street in Chula Vista and 3605 Bonita Ranch in Bonita do not exist.
The owners are liars and scammers. First of all, I have seen the emails you sent to the vendor. You were paid for storage for a grandfather clock, which in your emails you said your movers destroyed on day one. Why have you been billing for storage for over 6 months? I’ll tell you why cause you’re a fraud. Please address your fake storage facilities? Also, I will be posting a link containing the emails you sent the vendor exposing your lies. So your potential customers can see your fraudulent activities.

Edit to orig. Update: Serious misconduct by Blue Dog Moving, LLC, operated by Clifford & Erika Pollard ~ 07/21/2025 delivered & reassembled a Custom pool table for a family friend. Seller provided time-stamped photos showing table in perfect condition. Upon delivery, after collecting $650 COD, crew left w/out inspection. W/in 30 min’s, severe damage was discovered. Olhausen experts confirmed the table is unrepairable.
At the time, my friend was in the ICU w/ her seriously ill husband. She immed. tried to reach Clifford only ignored. She asked me, an out-of-state friend, to help. When I called, Clifford answered w/in 15 min’s — apparently mistaking me a new customer — promised to immed. call her, but never did.
Multiple respectful mess’s were left offering solutions: payment plans, insurance claims. I pleaded minimally an e-mail communication. Instead, Clifford mailed a cease-and-desist lttr to my attn. from a fictitious law firm, threatening legal & financial consequences if complaints or reviews were posted. The letter even misused my full legal name, showing incompetence & intent to intimidate.
Ca Household Goods & Services records show Blue Dog Moving, LLC’s permit (Cal-T192711) reportedly canceled - due to “failure to maintain required insurance & fee paid” yet Co. continued operating. Consumer reviews is demonstrating the co. has potentially been operating illegally & w/out insurance, exposing consumers to risk.
This complaint addresses property damage, potentially illegal operation, deceptive business practices, & intimidation to silence the truth! EVERY word can and will be easily supported by undeniable evidence! I strongly urge consumers practice due diligence! Consider the above! It’s beyond reprehensible!

Came to be involved in this matter because Blue Dog Moving’s negligence forced my hand. Can personally confirm Mr. & Mrs. Chango’s custom pool table was indeed damaged by crew employed or contracted by Blue Dog Moving, LLC. The “owner” — presumably Clifford P. — claimed in an earlier response that the table was already damaged & “documented” at pickup. This statement is an outright fabrication.
The table was in perfect condition when sold. Seller took multiple time-stamped pics right before Blue Dog’s crew arrived to disassemble & load — proof was exactly as described in the sale listing. Those photos have since become critical evidence, leaving no doubt the damage happened under Blue Dog’s watch.
For Clifford to deny responsibility is beyond brazen — it’s reckless. Evidance against this co. is overwhelming: photos, videos, mess’s, emails, letters, timestamps. Not just about 1 damaged pool table; it’s part of a larger pattern of avoidance, dishonesty, & unprofessional conduct.
Clifford’s attempts to dodge responsibility — screen calls, ignore mess’s, even cutting off communication entirely — show calculated effort to wear people down until they give up.
Clifford accepted liability — fair & equitable payment to the family is warranted!
Consumers deserve to know: glowing 5-star reviews Blue Dog point to don’t tell the whole story. Look closer @ who’s writing them, when, where from & what some say! A co’s public image can be polished while its real-world conduct tells a very different story.
He committed in writing to making this right — & yet, the table remains destroyed & unusable per Olhausen experts. If he truly believes otherwise, Mr. Chango invited him to take possession, resell it, & recoup half the requested $ he owes the Chango family.
This isn’t just about one transaction. It’s about a business model built on denial, deflection, & damage control instead of integrity. My advice: stop creating chaos, honor commitments, & focus doing one thing right instead of many halfway.
Do not trust Clifford or his moving company. After completely ruining a brand new pool table, he refused to take any responsibility or offer compensation. That alone is enough to stay away — but it gets worse. Instead of owning up to his mess, he chose to talk behind my family’s back and spread lies like a petty, spineless fraud. This isn’t just bad service — it’s flat-out disrespectful and disgraceful. Save yourself the headache and avoid this joke of a business.
Blue dog moving team are very professional and they works efficiently. They were able to manage moving all my stuffs carefully and smoothly from a 2story building to a very narrow stairs condo. They are so strong and hard working, from packaging to lifting, moving and even arranging everything to the new location. And bonus points, they are so polite and respectful! Will definitely recommend and for sure would like them to do my future movings.
It was my first time using Blue Dog Moving to move my piano.It is absolutely an amazing service with amazing people. The price is right, and overall, it's all about you finding someone that you can trust to do a good job, and Blue Dog is definitely my favorite. I definitely recommend it to everyone I know. Update 7/31/2025 - we moved my father from one assisted living/memory care facility to a another memory care facility and once again I reached out to Clifford with Blue Dog Moving company to move my fathers piano and his bed. They answered right away and were there a week later on the one & only day we had to move him so he was able to get situated and fall sleep comfortably on his bed and is excited to get up in the morning and play his piano for the other residents in the hallway by the activities area ❤️ 🎹 Thank you again to Clifford & your team

My girlfriend and I were recommended by a friend to use blue dog moving for a residential move we had coming up. We were both extremely pleased with their help in our move! They provided a huge truck/trailer, along with shrink wrap and other helpful moving materials. They even offered to assemble our bed frame back together after the moving job was finished! All of this at only $100 an hour…hard to beat! I’d rate higher than five stars if I could!

Hired these guys to move a 750lb safe and a very nice 450lb Ice Bath. Well, they got the items moved and that wasn’t easy however, they did not protect the double door threshold before rolling the safe over. This ruined the threshold and now the double doors don’t close properly.
They tipped the ice bath which jarred the equipment causing the plumbing to leak so bad it has to be re- plumbed before turning it on.
When I reported this to Clifford, his response was “my guys said they didn’t do that.”
THERE’S YOUR WARNING.
If moving your items safely and/ or accountability are important to you, use caution when hiring these guys.

I hired them to move 2 vending machines for me and they went above and beyond with helping me get this done. I had not prepared properly and didn’t measure the doorway we needed to go through but they did not give up and ultimately got it done. I’ll for sure be using them again in the future.
