Worth every penny!! I have a German Shepherd with a sensitive stomach, and this was the first food we found that didn't hurt her stomach. We went through 3 other brands, 6 variations total, including Purina pro plan. Blue Buffalo straightened out her stomach, and we never looked back!! I feed her a combination of this and fresh cooked meat as per her vets recommendation.Is Blue more expensive than some, sure, but when you figure it up, it's really not much more per day, and our furry family members are worth every penny and then some. We humans don't deserve the unconditional love of our dogs, they are too good for us! Feed them well, they will thank you!

I love this brand Ingredients to size nutrition, size nut nutrition to quality and if it breaks, yeah it’s good. It’s good for dogs with sensitive stomachs. I had recommended but in the long run it just cost too much but it is worth the money though.

One of the few large breed puppy foods I can only find 2 large breed puppy foods on the market. Having heard horror stories about the other one I got this one. My 2 babies (now 120 and 125lb Newfies) love it. My only complaint is there is only 1 flavor. I get blue buffalo toppers to give them some verity from day to day.

STAY AWAY - GARBAGE Stay away from Blue Buffalo. Please do the research - this is a bad company. Bad products. My dog broke out in hives eating their garbage. Now feeding her Eukanuba and she is MUCH better as far as her energy, skin, and coat.

This is very bad for your dogs I used to get blue buffalo for my dog. After some time we noticed he was not feeling well and was having quite a bit of blood in his stool. He went down hill one day pretty quickly. We rushed him to the vet and at first couldn’t give us the reason he was not well. We took him to another vet and he said blue buffalo causes many bad side effects to dogs and has been known to kill animals. I only know he was right because we took him right off of it and he got better very quickly. Do not buy this brand. It is dangerous for your animals. We almost lost our dog to this horrible brand. Please do your research on this brand and you will see yourself other people having terrible stories about it.

My dog Kahlua died December 5th, 2024. I found her in her cage in the morning. She was healthy and only 8 years old pitbull. I had been feeding her blue Buffalo limited ingredients for 4 years, $130 each month of dog food. That's almost 7,000$ in 4 years. Come to find out, my vet assumes it was from the dog food because it's been linked to heart failure! I cannot believe this.

My 8yr old Boston terrier shihtzu mix developed seizures that could not be explained. She would drool, shake, couldn’t walk & lose control of her hind legs. I thought my poor baby girl just developed seizures. I guess this happens to some breeds as they get older and never ever thought it could be Blue Buffalo because when I first was recommended the pink small breed bag she loved it. It was the only dry food she seemed to enjoy. Flash forward my boyfriend started doing research because the vets could not explain why she was having these seizures and he loves my beautiful girl just as much as I do. He convinced me to try another dog food even though I was skeptical and afraid she wouldn’t like another dry food but I did switch over to another brand that he did extensive research on and sure enough her seizures have stopped. She's had 0. Please don’t give this food to your babies. As of now I’m convinced this dry food was the cause of her seizures.

I purchased several bags of premium jerky treats for 17.99 each from Amazon. One of the bags contained burnt treats that had the worst smell ever. Since it was past 30 day Amazon return, I contacted Blue customer service. I was informed items can only be refunded through place of purchase. The satisfaction guarantee on the bag is useless.

We were gifted the Christmas shaped chicken dog treats so we fed them to our 100lb Shepherd Chow Chow adult male dog. Both times he vomited. We threw the bag away immediately and stopped giving him them.

My puppy loves this food! My puppy was eating purina puppy chow and well it made his super gassy!and drying out his skin, I said it (gassy) lol, so I decided to give Blue Buffalo a try and he absolutely loves it and not only is he not gassy anymore his skin is also looking better!

Started using the chicken and rice food about 2 months ago. After the initial diarrhea from swapping foods too quickly things seemed fine until about a month ago. At that point my dog got really consistent diarrhea. We would take her out multiple times an hour for hours on end. After telling our vet about this we were sent home with purina pro-biotics packets to sprinkle on the food with real rice. Despite feeding her a quarter of her normal portion with the rest being rice and the pro-biotic nothing has changed. We're dropping this food from her diet today after reading all these reviews here. Absolutely wild that they've been allowed to make such low quality and dangerous food.

The bag did not seem to weigh 4 lbs so I weighed it. It weighed 3.14 lbs. For a company that brags about their premium food but does not fill the bags to the desired weight specified on the bag, is not practicing honest ethics. This is terrible! I will be researching for better quality food and an honest company. If anyone plans to sue you, I'm all in!
