This business (Bernard) is all about making money and less emphasis on service, I was with this borker lender for two years now and not even once I received any service call to review my loans or proactively apply for rate reduction for existing loans. I started off with significant portfolio (> 2 mil) and due to my financial conditions had to sell properties or move a loan to different provider (I was forced to after Bernard said he cannot help me with new purchase) and this irritated this broker and I heard him express his dissatisfaction multple times and even asked me to pay commission out of my pocket for doing work on my file for new purchase for subsequet loan with Liberty financial. Recently I reached out via text asking him to call as I want to refinance my loans as they are out of fixed rate period, but there is no call, no response, BLANK silence. I like to tell this business, customers circumstances change and they make decisions that help me them float financially, especially in current environemnt when interest rates are so high, customers do offload assets and also look for better interest rate loans. That is part of the business cycle and to complain you sold properties or moved loans etc is immature and not understanding what customers go through.

They were able to get my mortgage approved with major lender with the best possible outcome both in terms of LVR and interest rate. Other lenders including NAB could only support a lower LVR and Westpac couldn’t take the property as a security due to its rural profile. Moreover, the team was always accessible and willing to speak at different hours when I was travelling.
